Today 2/3/2020 I stopped at GetGo for air in my front tire. As I pumped I noticed an odd sound from the pump. I continued until I noticed that instead of the pump putting air in the tire, it deflated it. I told the gal at the station and she said there had been trouble off and on all morning, but there was no sign on it saying "out of order". Now I'm stuck there with a tire so flat I could not drive the car to go elsewhere. The gal called someone at Giant Eagle there and a young guy came over to help. I had a jack, but nothing to loosen the lug nuts. He came in hopes of taking off the tire, going elsewhere for air and then putting the tire back on. Unfortunately the plan did not work. I just want to thank John Uvegas for being so nice and helpful and willing to do what he could to get me back on the road. I finally had to call Sims Towing in Geneva to help, he came with a air tank and inflated my tire and I was on my way. But again thanks to John for going above and beyond to help. We need more people like him...

The store itself is actually great in terms of product organization and quality. The shelves are always well-stocked, the bakery does a great job, and whoever handles ordering clearly knows what they’re doing — that alone earns this place the extra star.
Unfortunately, the experience with management and staff over the past couple of years has really gone downhill. The self-checkout machines constantly mess up, and when they do, the employees or managers who come over to “help” are often rude, impatient, or even aggressive — especially if it’s not your first issue or if you accidentally do something wrong, even after apologizing.
It’s disappointing because you used to have friendly cashiers and a smoother checkout process. Now you’re doing the work yourself and still get treated like a bad employee instead of a valued customer. Kind of a bummer, especially when the rest of the store is so well run...
Read moreI went there today to get a few things that I forgot at Walmart, I get up to the register, and get rung out, however they refused to finalize the transaction because I did not remember the PIN to my debit card, both the cashier and I think a manager told me it could not be by passed, since I never use it as a debit card and haven't even used it in an ATM, I don't know if I even set a PIN up on it, and even though it is a chip enabled debit Master Card, they claimed it was for "added security", it should be MY choice how I want to use my card as debit or MasterCard, not to be forced into how THEY think it should be used, and to make things worse, when I went out an associate was working the carts and told me they could have by passed the PIN option as he had done for several customers that very day, so much for honesty, wish I'd have had a full cart of stuff, bet they would have by...
