Walgreens — Local services in Sayreville

I agree with everyone here. Worst Pharmacy. Stood in line for 15 minutes with their backs to us. They’re busy every minute with something, Walgreens fault not theirs. And don’t give me any COVID BS, you have an additional person who would work, you just don’t want to pay. You know after a long weekend where you’re closed that Monday is going to be extremely busy. Do your damn job and plan enough people. You had a pharmacist who never left his station and only one other person working the drive through. Again do your job and place that second person for the inside line. It was completely unattended and that’s Walgreens being cheap, or is management that dumb that only we see it. Doubtful, just cheap. Smarten up Walgreens!! UPDATE: I Despise this place!!!!!!!!! I spent all day in and out of this place and they still F’d up my order. I’m now back in line with 6 people ahead of me to get it fixed. which I’ll let you know how long that takes!!! UPDATE Jan. 10, 2025: This Walgreens sucks even more now if that’s possible! Just found out that the old Pharmacist Manager is no longer there. She was very helpful and I hope she left on good terms. I was at store earlier and met Scott. I didn't know it at the time but he is the new Pharmacist Manager. He was very helpful with my inquiries on getting my prescriptions filled out of state. If his work ethics are as good as they were when I was there he is going to be a great asset to Walgreens. Justin, another Pharmacist whom I spoke with just now and again great service. Not saying that the staff is not great because they are great. I just can't remember names. (Sorry Ladies) But they are always helpful. I think the last time I had a problem here was 10 years ago. Located just off Parkway South bound 124. Or 9&35 Raritan street exit. Only downside is the phone system. I called twice to speak to the store manager. After being told the old PM was no longer there and again because I was cut off, I asked to be switched to the pharmacy, once by the Manager. Twice after about a minute the call was disconnected. Absolutely the worst Walgreens pharmacy ever. Sending me back 2 times with fever and chills and difficulty breathing to come back like I have nothing else to do but to drive back and forth to the pharmacy and back. When I said I need medication now I don’t feel well and I can’t breathe, she said one moment and gave my my prescription in 2 minutes?!?!? Then when I got home my inhaler was not working so I went back and she told me she can’t do anything about that I need to call customer service, I asked so I can’t breathe I’m supposed to what just call them to give me money back she said yes. I can’t believe that this is happening. I didn’t get her name but she seemed unbothered and even uninterested short lady seems like a manager with a resting …. Face… Overall concern when someone is not feeling well should at least show some sympathy not even I’m sorry, unbothered and uninterested in helping whatsoever. Why did you choose this profession clearly...
