Wish I had found this place sooner! I somehow discovered The White Pear Formal Boutique while scrolling on social medis. I decided to give it a chance after reading the wonderful reviews. What a gem of a place, so glad I found them! I felt like this would be the place for us, before I even met the team personally or saw any of the dresses at the boutique itself! I emailed the lovely owner(Nanette) to inquire about layaway options, as my husband and I both work hard and live paycheck to paycheck. Prom dresses can be so costly, but the LAST thing I wanted my daughter to worry about was a price tag, when she found her dream dress. Senior prom is such a "forever memory" and I wanted it to be perfect. The email response I received was so kind, gently written, compassionate and HELPFUL. (and they do have a layaway option). We excitedly came up the following weekend. What a selection!! Gowns from all designers, so many cuts/styles, and a great selection of all sizes. Whether you're seeking flashy, sequins, feathers or beautiful beading....or perhaps princess/ball-gown...or my daughters choice, sleek and elegant-- they had it all! The team at The White Pear immediately greeted us with smiles and made it clear that they were there for whatever we may need. That being said, they allowed us to independently shop without "hovering", which we had not experienced last year while prom shopping. Very refreshing. Plenty of dressing rooms were available. We did not feel rushed at all, despite it being fairly busy with another party of girls shopping. Honest feedback was given by the team,when my daughter tried on dresses that just weren't for her. But when she tried on "the one"---everybody working "oooh'd and ahhh'd" my daughter as she modeled the dress. It was incredibly uplifting for her, and made her smile ear to ear--she felt beautiful. Our time at the White Pear was such a lovely experience, and was made to feel personal. I will recommend The White Pearl to anyone, a million times over! Wonderful experience, great selection of colors and styles, and they are priced so affordably (both brand new and consignment dresses). If I could give more gold stars I would. This local business went above and beyond to help my future daughter-in-law. I’ll tell all of you our story. My future daughter-in-law purchased in full her dream wedding gown from The Bridal Studio in Schuylkill Haven back in Aug of 2021. Emily, the owner canceled on her five times and always had excuses. The best was a gas leak. There was no gas leak because we asked the other businesses in the area. They would have been involved. The whole block would have. I as her future mother in law and her mother spoke with Emily and had words; we even said we will have the authorities involved. She said to her mother to stop by this Friday (5/6/22) to pick the gown up. We are worried because in three months she will be getting married to my son and she won’t have her gown. So we went to The White Pear. She found a gown she loved. We explained what was happening. They understood completely because others had the same problem with Emily. They are holding this gown for her until we see what is happening with The Bridal Studio. The White Pear went out of their way helping us. We can’t thank them enough for all their help, consideration, and respect for us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts ♥️ UPDATE Well, it is Friday 5/6/2022. My heart is heavy right now for what this unprofessional business woman named Emily Gordon of the Bridal Studio in Schuylkill Haven has done to my future daughter in law and all of us. She lied about the gown. She told my daughter in law it wouldn’t be in today because she just shipped for it. Six times she has reached out and Emily will not answer her call or return her call for her money to be refunded. Needless to say she has left us no choice but to file charges. My daughter in law has purchased her new beautiful gown at The White Pear. We thank all of you and appreciate your kindness and hospitality. You guys deserve Business of the Year Award. Thank you...

I went in a few weeks ago looking for a wedding dress. My bridesmaids, mother and myself were put in a very private area and assisted with everything we could possibly need. I ended up finding my dream dress. Today I went back to pick up my gown and ended up finding a beautiful reception gown as well. The staff is absolutely amazing. The prices are incredible and the owner is magnificent. After finding my wedding dress and leaving, the owner called me personally to tell me that in the chaos they forgot that everything was 20% off. She absolutely could have kept this from me and i was not aware, but took her time to call me and sort this out. I will absolutely be buying all of my bridal accessories...
