When considering Cake Pros, A so called Blessing Table, please consider other bakeries. My family has ordered numerous items over the years and many times we ran in to difficulties such as a wrong name on the cake, no cake at all.......but we always returned because we loved the taste of their baked goods. Fast forward to this past July when my daughter was getting married. There was no question, she would patronize Cake Pros once again. Her and her husband months before did the cake testing and picked raspberry and vanilla cake. The wedding comes and the entire cake was vanilla and no raspberry (which they wanted the most). I reached out to the bakery and I was told she would be reimbursed $25.00 for the raspberry...yes...$25.00 which she never received. They were told to not give the $100 deposit the night of testing. She reached out a month in advance asking what needs to be done and to pay. Once again she was told they would contact her a week before the wedding and never did. She had to reach out to them again and that is when she was told she was in the "hold file" but they will still make the cake and also because there was no deposit made. Really!!!!!!!! The lack of communication is like no other!!!!!! My daughter reached out one last time and all she got in return was "So sorry to hear, but I totally understand". She was not looking to be refunded just a little empathy and an honest apology and sadly she didn't get either one. If you choose Cake Pros make sure there is some kind of contract to sign and specify what you would like multiple times so there is no excuse for the mistakes that they make frequently. If you do choose Cake Pros all I have to say is...
Read moreI was so excited to order a cake for a bachelorette party I had planned. My initial cake consult went so well, I emailed the exact inspiration pictures showing a heart shaped cake and I had a wonderful conversation with the woman who placed my order. I specifically wanted a heart shape cake. It’s really the only reason I ordered from a bakery rather than making it myself or buying from a grocery store. I ordered a yellow cake with fresh strawberry filling and white icing. I had sent someone to pick the cake up for me and I was absolutely heartbroken to find out that the cake was made into a normal round shape. Once I had checked their website again, it stated that for heart shaped cakes there is an extra charge per serving. When I called back to ask about that, the girl on the phone checked in on the order and came back almost silent, stating that I didn’t get charged for the extra. I was barely given a sorry and no way to rectify this sad experience. I’m not sure how I’m supposed to believe that I wasn’t charged extra when it states it on their website. The cake was delicious however and very beautifully decorated, which is why I am giving 3 stars rather...
Read moreKudos to a company that stands up for their own rights. All of the hateful 1 star comments should be removed, because they have absolutely nothing to do with the service or products.
All of you self righteous haters don't deserve the freedom of speech that you are using to bash this establishment. They used their freedom of speech and religion, and all of you are hating on them for it. I can't wait to see every single one of you or your friends or family lose your jobs because of your hateful ways. Let them be. If they don't want to serve the LGBT community, then that is their right.
The biggest fact is that if they couple didn't flaunt it in the face of the business owner, then it probably never would have popped up. If you are gonna flaunt your sexuality, then you are equally subject to discrimination. What's good for the goose is good...
