Main Street Moonshine — Restaurant in Schuylkill Haven

Went with friends and family to see other close friends play with their band and rock out and within 10 minutes there younger “bouncer” “blonde guy with sleeve” started being very passive aggressive accusing people of smoking and telling us he’ll throw us out because of an weed odor from a completely different group! Then accused us of vaping but unfortunately unknown to his knowledge, none of us smoke anything!! He made us feel completely uncomfortable considering he just kept staring and treating us like we didn’t belong there over a weed odor that wasn’t from us it was so disrespectful and unbearable to be accused of this behavior there! Had people who don’t even work there apologizing to us for him! We then just wanted a refund and to leave and then were told refunds weren’t available 10 minutes after paying! Because of this young guy we will never be returning to this location and hope they hire better security/bouncers that’s not trying to take advantage of their power and ruin...

I had my bachelorette/bachelor party here. JOHN is a GENIUS! The tour was AMAZING! He is informative, funny, and charismatic! He showed us what it takes to make THE BEST MOONSHINE ever and the love He puts into his work can be tasted! We had a blast! I HIGHLY recommend you gather all of your best of friends and come see my friends at MAIN STREET MOONSHINE! The flavors are amazing! FAVORITE: APPLE PIE and YOU MUST TRY THEIR Captain drink.

FRIENDS, not only will I come back here to celebrate, I will come back to reconnect to the new family I have chosen to adopt.

Jen and J. Steve are amazing! Mrs. John is fantastic and I am so grateful I got to experience this tour and the delightful food.

First Im going to say the atmosphere and the moonshine drinks are very good!!!

Second me and 5 other friends went there for the Valentines day couple $60 special. 2 of us got the chicken alfredo which was bland, tasteless, the equivalent of buttered noodles. They were sent back and 2 of us wound up not eating then. I mean it was a joke of attempt by whatever cook was in the back. A friends steak was way over done, another friends stuffed chicken breast was dried out and tough to eat. The crab cakes were OK nothing special. The gfs salmon was over done and crispy/burnt. The only thing they got right was the chicken tenders for the 6 year old kid with us. While everyone else ate their food I waited another 15 minutes. Mind you this is after an hour of waiting already.

Go for the drinks NOT FOR THE FOOD because...
