Really sad to say this because I went to this salon a lot before this happened. I signed a three month contract with them for the wellness pod and decided I did not like or need it. They told me I couldn’t get off my contract or else I would have to pay a $50 fee. So I kept paying for three months and I was so excited to not be charged again after that (also I have not been in the salon for two months they can check the records) so I basically paid for two months with no services. Then they charged me on the fourth month! I called to get my money back and I was totally shocked. They said I need to “write an email” and since I never wrote an email I can’t get my money back -even though I called the month before and the worker never told me that. They stole my money and I can’t believe it. Just because they are desperate to keep there business does not mean they have to take my hard working money that I need to pay my own bills with. Awful people and business :(

Update: Owner tried to call me and was actually rude? She said she tried to call to make a resolution? Exact words are “how old are you can I give you advice?” She didn’t even make one comment or suggestion of a resolution. If she comments back - please explain what you said to resolve this issue? (15 minute phone call not one...

I called the Scotts Valley location excited to get a spray tan before an upcoming trip and the person that answered seemed annoyed by my call, first she asked if I could schedule online, I told her their website seem to be having issues, as I asked a couple more questions re scheduling her annoyance was obvious and I was asking about availability, etc. After I said a time she asked me if I knew this was for their VersaSpa, and I didn't so I asked her what VersaSpa was and she said " you need to call Santa Cruz then" and didn't answer my question. I quickly said I will take my business elsewhere because of how your talking to me. I always try to support our local businesses however I will go to Santa Cruz (not Glimmer & Glow) or Los Gatos. Advice to who every may listen at Glimmer & Glow, be nice, people have options....

I’m not usually someone who goes tanning- I lived in Washington state for 22 years. However, I’m getting married next month and I got a gift certificate to go tanning. I’ve been 10/10 so happy with this place. They recommended a great lotion for me based on how white my skin is. They remember me by name every time I’m in! Even if there is a wait for a bed, it isn’t long. I also used the stand up bed for the first time ever and it was super cool. I like this place and the gals who work there so much that I’ll probably continue to tan even...
