Hollywood 10 Cinema — Local services in Scottsboro

Went to see Dune last night and noticed the theatre had new seating which was great...We ordered our tickets online and when arriving were told that they had no popcorn due to it being bad... After trying the drinks we purchased they were very flat so I wished we hadn't spent so much money on the high priced drinks that were flat. I told my wife from now on we ll sneak drinks and snacks in. I don't feel as much as you have to pay for popcorn and drinks at the movies that they should be flat . If anything these guys should make sure these cokes are the best thing ever tasted ..

Getting into the theatre my wife looked at the seating on our tickets and noticed someone was already sitting in our seats so it seems that this way of ordering tickets at this theatre may not be great if you think that you will get the seating that is showing on the online ticket..This theatre did put in new seating and as well possibly new speakers as we didn't hear the popping and crackling anymore while watching the movie...

If your going to charge an arm and a leg for refreshments then I'd make sure everything was good..you should have poured the flat coke out with...

They are completely incompetent. They have a ticket booth but nobody works in it. Instead they sell the tickets at the concession stand so that even if you just want to buy tickets and nothing else you will be late for your movie because of the ridiculous lines inside the building. The workers are slow and condescending and the management is rude. When you get in they don't shut off the lights for the first 10-20 minutes and if the movie is dark then prepare to not see any details other than blurred faces. If this weren't the only theatre in town more people would complain. You either miss the first 10-15 minutes of the movie or miss the matinee causing you to pay more money rather than buying the ticket AT THE TICKET BOOTH. Sometimes the screen isn't even on during parts of the movie. Went to see Pirates if the Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales and had to walk out to tell the management the screen wasn't working just to have some little boy mouth off at me and then when the lights were coming on and off during dark parts of the movie the same little boy yelled at me and when I asked for a refund the...

Bad time at the Minecraft movie

Teens were throwing water on me and my friends. When I went to speak to the manager I was heated because I had just been assaulted (legally, a bit dramatic i know but the police do consider water assault not me)

The manager on duty must’ve been having a bad night or she is just a god awful person because she blamed me for being upset and said NOTHING to or about the kids harassing her patrons.

I will never be back and if you want to go to a place that has your back when you get assaulted i wouldn’t either.

Which is tragic because I loved this place. It’s a great cinema, but if you can’t control your customers and cant back them up you aren’t worth my time or money.

They gave me free passes after trying to scold me lol. Told em it was a coward move (stronger language) and I’d never be back. Donated the passes to some special needs people.

Movie was good though so far...
