I recently had the pleasure of hosting my daughter's eighth birthday party at Jordans Corner, and I can confidently say it was an experience beyond our expectations. Jordans Corner is not just an indoor play space for kids; it's a vibrant, inclusive community hub that has become an invaluable asset to Scottsdale and the greater Phoenix area.
From the moment we walked into their new location, we were struck by how thoughtfully designed and welcoming the space is. It's a haven for children of all ages, offering a safe environment where kids can freely explore, play, and learn. As a parent, knowing that my children are in a secure and clean space allows me to relax and enjoy the moment, and Jordans Corner provides just that.
What truly sets Jordans Corner apart is the heart and dedication of its team. Janell, the visionary behind this incredible place, has poured her love and passion into creating a community-focused environment. We had the pleasure of working with Grace for our party planning, and she was nothing short of amazing. Grace's communication was impeccable, and she helped us bring our vision to life seamlessly. She even connected us with other local small businesses, enhancing the experience with beautiful decorations and thoughtful touches.
The party itself was a dream come true for my daughter. Despite my initial concerns about the space being too young for older kids, it turned out to be perfect. The children had ample room to run around, play games, and engage in creative activities; I loved the art area!! My daughter declared it the best birthday ever, and seeing her joy was priceless.
Jordans Corner made the party planning process incredibly convenient. From providing tables and tablecloths to guiding us through every step of the setup, they ensured that I could focus on enjoying the day with my daughter rather than stressing over details. The staff, Grace and Angela, worked tirelessly to make sure everything was perfect, and their teamwork was truly inspiring.
In summary, Jordans Corner is more than just a play place; it's a cornerstone of our community. Whether you're looking for a fun day out with the kids or planning a special event, I wholeheartedly recommend Jordans Corner. It's a blessing to have such a wonderful resource in our community, and I can't imagine Scottsdale without it. Thank you, Jordans Corner, for making my daughter's birthday unforgettable and for being a beacon of joy and inclusion for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI regret not reading the reviews prior to my visit. While Iām unsure if I have particularly high expectations or if I simply visited on an off day, I found the experience disappointing. Unfortunately, I likely will not return. I donāt usually leave reviews, but I feel itās important to share my feedback for other families considering Jordanās Corner.
This venue has the potential to be great, but it fell short in several areas, especially when compared to other similar establishments in the valley. While I understand that a placeās condition may vary, I was surprised by the lack of cleanliness, particularly given its location in Scottsdale. The entire facility appeared to be in need of a thorough deep cleaning, and it would benefit from having a staff member dedicated to tidying up as children play. The space was cluttered with markers, chalk, toys, and dolls scattered everywhereāeven when no children were actively using them.
The overall cleanliness was also concerning. While I recognize that items are heavily used in such environments, I believe they should be maintained and replaced as needed. For example, some areas, such as the walls, were poorly maintained; in particular, the paint stopped halfway up the wall, which was both odd and unprofessional.
Additionally, I believe the recommended age range for the facility should be reconsidered. During my visit, there were several older children running around, knocking over smaller children, including my 16-month-old daughter, who was unexpectedly shoved off a toy car. This level of disruption could be mitigated with better oversight and clearer guidelines regarding age-appropriate play.
Iāve noticed that in response to lower-star reviews, Jordanās Corner has defended its practices, but the same issues are repeatedly mentioned. Unfortunately, this suggests that no meaningful changes have been made to address these concerns.
I hope this feedback is helpful to others, and I would urge the management to consider improvements in cleanliness and age-appropriate supervision for the safety and enjoyment...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWeāve been going to Jordanās Corner since it first opened 3-4years ago and loved it as (to us at least) the āOGā of indoor play places for littles that is all inclusive. Now at the new location, we love it even more! (Especially JORDANS WORKS!!!!) Everyone else has posted the amazing play and details of the space, which we love the free play, the options, the characters and special events. My sons are 2.5y and 5y and have been coming since the older one was a toddler. A few reasons we love the new space more! Location - north Scottsdale, the new space has parking in a more secluded area, less busy plaza and always has parking. Easier to get in and out with small kids. Bigger space & creative area - the indoor main area now has a bounce house, garden area, creative art space, dentist and little house to creative independent play. Plus all the favorites from the original location. Education rooms and private rooms for more play and quiet areas. Bathroom spaces are separate and the shoe space/storage is not right at the front and easy to use. The owners! They are always present and kind and willing to help! My son loves playing with their kids. My boys are always asking to go to Jordanās Corner. And the real reason for my review ! JORDANS WORKS!!!!!! This is the best kept secret! I hope no one reads my review this long, so it doesnāt get too crowded. But I also need this service to continue! This the most important part of why we love JC! It is an onsite opportunity for remote work with childcare! No Iām really serious! I am giving presentations, taking meetings, and seeing patients virtually in a private room while my kids play with the staff at JC. The cost and/or monthly membership is the most affordable and FUN childcare. Iāve already told all my Montessori parent friends, as this is a Montessori inspired independent play with caring owners and teachers there. The ratio is 5:1 max. I just canāt recommend this...
