I found Kittenâs Cupcakes at a Made for Love market. I had found a coupon for a free brownie with a purchase so I bought a red velvet cupcake for $5 thinking a brownie and a cupcake for $5 wasnât that bad. When I got home I tried the brownieâŠdry chocolate flavored cake is more like it. It was bland and very cakey. I went to try the cupcake and found more of the same. The âred velvetâ cupcake was just a bland cake, no particular flavor, and the frosting definitely didnât taste like anything remotely close to a normal cream cheese frosting for red velvet cake. I took a look at the ingredients and noticed both the brownie and cupcake had box recipes plus a few ingredients. And the frosting was made from shortening, creamer, and a cheesecake flavored sweetener. No surprise it was all dry and meh. Also, who ADDs flour to a box brownie recipe?!
