I had to stop by and leave a review of this place! I had such an amazing experience here! After breaking my phone while in Mexico the week before (I live in Seattle), we flew to Arizona for my graduation from ASU. It was a Sunday, the day before commencement, and I was frantically trying to find someone who could fix my phone before Monday morning. I really wanted to be able to capture the memories of my special day but I couldn't find anyone to help me asap. When I called this store, I got Matt. From the minute he picked up the phone, I felt like everything would be ok. He has empathy and is genuine. I could tell that he was serious about trying to help me. He ended up staying WAY past his scheduled time in an effort to fix my phone in time. At one point I told him to go home and bag it. I felt bad keeping him and I didn't think we would figure it out in time. I gave up and went to dinner. I then get a phone call from Matt....guess what? He ended up staying even longer at the store and fixed my phone! He THEN delivered it to me where I was at. I wish there was some way to repay him for this huge thing he did for me. Little did he know that I have spent the entire first part of this year going through one of the toughest times of my life. My phone harbors countless voicenotes and photos of my mom who just passed. I was desperate to recover those precious items. I needed this win that day and he made it happen. Because of him, I was equipped for my big day on Monday and able to document everything. I'm unsure if our paths will ever cross again, but I wanted to say that Matt left an impact on me. He is a reminder that there are some truly good souls out there and he sets the bar/example of what EXCEPTIONAL customer service is! Thank you Matt for being such a blessing! You are VERY much appreciated and will forever be embedded in...
Read moreI went in to get my iPhone x screen replaced in august and Rose helped me get that done with great customer service, when I picked my phone up everything seemed to be in order until I realized my face ID no longer works and there appear to be pixels on the screen that do not change (not even a month after replacement) at first it was no raise of concern to me as I did not have the time to go back in for another repair, but then my phone no longer was functioning, I then went into the Asurion on Power & 60 only to be told that the repair will not be covered under their 2-year warranty and the lady that helped me instructed me to go back to the Scottsdale location (25 minutes out of my way) to get it covered under warranty, so I did. When I went to the Scottsdale location, Rose was there and I raised my concern that the face ID was not working, she proceeded to say that I needed to go with the most expensive screen replacement and that they do not guarantee that face ID will work with the other screen replacement options. I then asked her why she hadn't told me that when I initially came in for a replacement, and she said, "well it says it right there on the pamphlet we leave out on the counter." and it clearly did not say anything about malfunctioning face ID or dead pixels, she then proceeded to say I can give you 3 options to choose from being the different screen types. I then told her "why would I spend another $200 to get my screen replaced when you can't guarantee the basic functions will work" So much for the 2-year warranty. Avoid this place or avoid Rose because thus far this has felt more like a scam than a service. AVOID Asurion and save your money. I don't know how someone with great customer service can be such a terrible person at the same time. They need to make some changes. Rose: 0/10...
Read moreI mindlessly left my phone on the roof of my car last week, when it flew off into traffic the screen got pretty beat up 😑 So I took it to these guys and paid the $50 diagnostic fee. Went in 2 days later to get an update, they said they would need to order parts for it and they needed my consent for that. I asked why they hadn't called me to ask, didn't get a clear response. So I said yes, go ahead and order the parts. Another 3 days goes by, I stopped in this afternoon to ask for the status of my phone. They said they'd gotten the parts in but were unable to fix the phone. I asked why they hadn't called me to let me know- again there was no clear response or good reason. What's even more interesting is the fact that the guy in line just before me went thru the exact same conversation as I was sitting there waiting. Seems like they're focused on the devices that they CAN fix because of course that's what brings in the money. If they had been able to fix my phone it would have been another $100 out of my pocket, which I was prepared to pay. Instead my device gets put on a shelf and forgotten- along with that other guys device too- so they can jump ahead to the money making repairs. No follow up phone calls, and focus on profit only instead of quality customer service. Seems like a shitty business plan to me. Not sure what I...
