I used to come here every two weeks just to browse for new merchandise. Sometimes I'll find good things to buy and sometimes I don't. But even if I don't find anything, I just like to browse. And because sometimes I leave the store without finding anything to buy (I know, how is that even possible with so many cute things?!), I think I'm being targeted by loss prevention agents. The last few times I visited the store, I noticed that the same person or pair of people would follow me around to every aisle of the store. It's very uncomfortable. I feel harassed. I've done nothing wrong. Maybe they don't like that I go to this store so often. Maybe they don't like that I'm just browsing. Or maybe they don't like that I'm a person of color in a store that's shopped by predominantly white people. Read moreThis homegoods needs to do better. They allow their employees to hide items, specifically highly sought after items. I witnessed one of their younger female employees hiding ceramics in the wrong departments and soon after announcing that she was off the clock. She then went straight to the location where she hid the items but to her surprise someone else who saw her beat her to it. It’s becoming a hide and seek game. Once it was brought up to the manager on duty she completely dismissed the problem and said “there’s nothing I can do” she carried on to say that for all she knows it could be a customer hiding it. She seemed very bothered and annoyed. Clearly felt like she didn’t try to hear or understand the concern.
