Dragonfly Yoga is hands down my favorite yoga studio. The owner, Amy, is incredibly kind and generous, and she has built an amazing team of instructors. (I can’t speak for the pilates or dance teachers, but I’d bet they’re just as great!) Each yoga instructor brings their own unique style and energy, yet every class I’ve attended has been thoughtful, distinctive, and full of good vibes. There are almost too many incredible instructors to name, but Amy, Elizabeth, Stacia, Terilyn, Heidi, Jennifer, Jenna, and Ara all bring something special while maintaining the exceptional Dragonfly quality.
When I first joined, I was going through a rough time, and the community I’ve found here has been an unexpected gift. Whether it’s Yoga “Church” on Sundays or a weekday class, no one cares how you show up as long as you’re kind and open. You can take a break, lie down, or fall out of a pose, and no one bats an eye. That acceptance helped me let go of worrying about how others see me.
There’s a great variety of classes for all skill levels and styles. I love the Vinyasa flows offered multiple times a day, the community feel of Yoga Church, and the calming pace of Yin and Restorative when I need to slow down.
The space itself is wonderful and well equipped. You can borrow a mat for free, towels and mat spray are always stocked, and there’s even a shower and changing rooms if you need them.
I’ll be a Dragonfly member for as long as I’m in...

Read morei'm surprised there aren't hundreds of reviews for this studio. i've been going to yoga classes in different studios in seattle for 25 years. and the studios have changed quite a bit.... yoga has become more of a work out place than a place to get your body ready for a deep meditation practice. dragonfly studio has done an excellent job curating instructors and designing the space to ensure students are getting a great work out while at the same time cultivating some bigger purpose. the classes are all levels, the temperature is warm but not gimmicky hot, the studio is always spotlessly clean, the people are nice, the lighting is warm. the owner cares about her clients and is in the studio often. her instructors and students show great admiration towards her which is...
