These apartments are nice, but overpriced for what they are. Overall I have been somewhat satisfied with them. The pros are that the layouts are workable, access to the building is nice with the keypad entry, the location is good, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The building is also very secure which is nice (although it would be great if they could put keypads in the garage too).
Cons: I would say that they are definitely overpriced. And the market seems to agree. For some reason Equity keep listing units well above what they can reasonably expect for market rent and then they have to slash prices just to get them filled. Not sure why they haven’t gotten the message yet that they just aren’t worth $2300+ for a 1 bedroom unit. In this economy too, where people’s budgets are stretched to the limits.
There are a few issues with the building. For one the garbage facilities don’t seem adequate. There is 1 garbage room and during the weekends, and especially over holiday weekends the garbage builds up and overflows. I can tell they try to keep up as best they can. But we really could use larger garbage facilities. They say to bring trash down to the garbage room if the chutes are full, but if everyone did that there would be absolutely no room to stand in the small garbage area. They don’t have a recycling chute which is expected in newer builds like this. No loading elevator dedicated to resident moves. They also don’t have many amenities. Their gym is fine, I use it regularly, it does the job but is nothing special though. They have a patio area that steals privacy from the surrounding units that I personally don’t want to use because you’re staring into someone else’s living room when you use it. A clubhouse with not much in it. I would expect more for what I’m paying.
The parking spaces are too small, like way too small and it’s annoying to have to try and wedge your car in to park. Also, the garage door sometimes breaks. This happened when I was trying to make it to an appointment for work and it messed up my workflow and impacted my relationship with my client. They didn’t let anyone know unless they asked. And then the text messages meant to inform us only got sent out after it was fixed. More than halfway through the day.
I can confirm that occasionally the communication about maintenance happening on the patios of the 2nd floor does not get sent out on time. It can lead to privacy issues.
My suggestions for the complex would be that they should reconsider how much they are trying to rent these units out for. It’s just too much for what you get. The building is newer but not THAT new. The soundproofing and quality of the interior finishing aren’t what you would expect of a luxury apartment, storage is minimal, and the building issues to boot. It feels like they built the building on a budget.
They also seem to think it’s acceptable to share staff between 2 communities. Meaning we get 1 day of the week where we are not staffed. For how much we pay…there is no excuse for not having someone here Monday-Saturday 9-5 in the office. I’ve missed deliveries because of it. And having to share staff with another building when I pay over 2k a month for rent feels like the management company is cheaping out on us.
Otherwise happy with the unit I am in. If they don’t raise my rent next renewal id be...
Read moreStephanie, Maria, and Adrienna are gems and really made my stay at Springline an exceptional one!
I couldn’t make it up to Seattle to see my apt before choosing it, so Adrienna took me through a virtual tour and really took the time to answer all my questions and make sure I was comfortable with the space. She even dropped off the mattress and cat products I’d sent ahead of me in my apartment because I wouldn’t fly in early enough to get my packages, so from our first interaction, I felt very accommodated.
From then on to my very last day staying there, the staff at Springline were outstanding. Stephanie and Maria were always a phone call or email away, which was a level of open communication that made all the difference. And just as much as they cared about the state of my apartment and the quality of the community spaces, they also cared about me, asking about how I was doing and offering up whatever help and advice they could. Moving to a city where I knew no one, it was so nice to have kind faces who would lend an ear and wish well for me and mine. They seriously elevated my time there.
I also want to highlight the maintenance team, who were on top of all my requests and made certain I was squared away as quickly as possible.
My neighbors were all very friendly and welcoming too (My first night there, a kind couple saw me unloading a ton of groceries from my car and offered me their dolly. I also had a wonderful experience with Karie, a petsitter in the building who took excellent care of my cats when I traveled.) West Seattle is pretty nice, quiet, and safe. Lots of great restaurants and shops (check out Seattle Yarn while you’re there!!)
I’ll miss the Springline...
Read moreI recently moved into Springline Apartments and I have to say that it has been a wonderful experience. The community is beautiful, well-maintained, and full of great amenities. However, what really stood out to me was the exceptional service provided by the leasing office staff, particularly Adrienna.
Adrienna went above and beyond to make sure that my move-in experience was as smooth and stress-free as possible. From the moment I first contacted the leasing office, she was incredibly responsive and helpful, answering all of my questions and providing me with all the information I needed to make an informed decision.
Once I had decided to move in, Adrienna made sure that the process was easy and efficient. She provided me with a detailed move-in checklist, helped me schedule my move-in date, and even provided me with recommendations for local moving companies.
During the move-in process, I encountered a few minor issues, but Adrienna was always there to help. She was incredibly responsive and made sure that any issues were resolved quickly and to my satisfaction.
Overall, I have been extremely impressed with the level of service and support provided by Adrienna and the staff at Springline Apartments. They truly care about their residents and are committed to providing exceptional service. I would highly recommend Springline Apartments to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming place...
