I recently encountered Engayla and her amazing eco-dyed scarves at the Edmonds market. Sadly, the last day of the season, but happily she has a studio full of her marvelous creations. I visited her today, and picked up another scarf for myself (lovely silk, an amazing one-of-a-kind print in rich fuchsias with remarkable shadows) and two for my sister-in-law in earhier tones...one silk for spring, one cashmere for the chilly depths of winter.
