Amanda is truly an artist and perfectionist when it comes to color, cut & style. I have remained a loyal client of hers for over 10 years. I started out with a cut/color in 2007 based on a referral by a good friend I trust. When I first moved to the Seattle area, I had a few trial and errors in pursuit of finding a stylist. So, I was a little anxious as to how my hair would turn out that first time. Well, she was a dream with that first appointment. She knew exactly what to do and went to work giving me a beautiful, multi-dimensional color and cut. She is the type of stylist you can trust with your hair. Her fees are aligned with her talent and skill while remaining accessible and not overblown. In the beginning, it was easy for me to trust her with my hair as we never had a bad hair day. She makes it a priority to keep up with the latest in trends, products, and techniques. Over the years, it has become shorthand for me to go to her salon with my vision and for her to execute using her own knowledge of my hair attained over the years to end up with exactly what I wanted. Even when I wanted bangs, she knew what to do because as it turns out, I don't ever want bangs and she made them a side swept style so they could easily blend in. Every few years we talk about bangs, or a haircut I saw on a celebrity, or going shorter, and like an old friend, she knows to talk me out of such foolishness or she'll take my expression and meld into what she thinks would look good for my face, hair texture and frame. She really is a gem. She is truly someone who has a heart of gold who is seasoned and skilled in her craft and artistry. Amanda is the most skilled hair artist I have ever met. She has been my hair stylist for 15 or 20 years now (this review is lonnngggg overdue). From cuts to colors, she is a master of her craft.
