Wanted to check out a oddity shop for my birthday and came here for the first time to check em out and find something cool. I found so many things I wanted but I walked out with this and two mystery bags! I thought the idea of having a lil mystery bag was so great. I will definitely come back. Jared was so friendly, my spouse talked to them for quite some time and the music choice was such a vibe. I had planned on visiting a few oddity shops that day but decided that this one was so cool that I forgot to ask if they had gift cards. The shop guy was also wearing a twin peaks shirt which is tight. Thank you Jared for the great experience!!!! I hope to come back in 2 weeks for that other item I want!

I visit many thrift and vintage shops viewing the artifacts of modern culture. Mudlark has all of that and more. I was fascinated by the collection of souvenir pins from the USSR. I post few photos of myself but I found a pin for my hat from Lake Baikal. I visited there 40 years ago.

Amazing collection. Prices are very reasonable and the amount of awesome oddities is incredible. Plus they let me bring my wiener dog in. This is a must visit.

This ABSOLUTELY is a must-visit place if you are in Seattle and have any interest in all things scary / the occult / creepy. This shop could easily stand in for the opening credit of the next season of American Horror Story … that is the vibe. This collection is museum-worthy, and indeed feels like something you should pay admission to see. The shopkeeper / curator is as nice as they come: totally welcoming, appreciative for folks coming by, and absolutely zero pressure to buy anything (although I did walk away with a number of “smalls”, skeleton dice, an old USSR pin, and a divination coin – and prices were quite reasonable in my opinion). You can tell that this collection comes from a place of true curiosity, creativity, and passion for the subject matter. In summary: yes I loved my visit here – make it a priority if you are in the area to swing by, this is THE most fun shop I have ever visited per...

I’m lucky enough to live down the street from Mudlark Oddities and visit often. I want to highlight a few things I love about this strange and special place.

They have a unique selection of one of a kind pieces from around the globe. With live leeches, human remains, stuffed monkeys, and specimens floating in jars, this is not a place for those faint of heart. However, you may find comfort in various antiques and ephemera scattered throughout the shop.

Their prices are very reasonable and they are constantly cycling through inventory. They are very kind there and passionate about the history of each item.

It’s hard put into words what this shop has to offer. It’s so full of personality- somewhere between necromancer and stamp collector. It’s something you need to experience yourself.

Also it’s...
