Burlington — Local services in Selma

Decided to go check out the new Burlington in my neighborhood, sooo excited. Store was clean and had a nice selection. HOWEVER ... When I tried to take my son to the bathroom we realize you need a code to get into it. So we rushed to the nearest employee which was all the way at the register up front to ask to be let into the bathroom. She then informed me that they only had two employees, her and the lady at the register next to her and because of that, they would not be able to let us into the bathroom until the line clears. There were approximately 15 people in line. She suggested I walk over to Marshalls.... So I left my basket and did just that. Then everything I was going to purchase in Burlington. I ended up purchasing in Marshalls because they actually had a bathroom we were able to use. Seems absurd that on a Saturday afternoon there are only two employees working at the store. I'm not complaining about the service. The ladies at the register obviously with their hands tied couldn't do much. But this policy is absurd. I understand you want to keep the doors locked to prevent theft. However, I think you're paying customers and their needs should...

On May 28, 2025 @1:18pm Enter the store I wasn’t acknowledged by the employee at the register at all. So I walked by her because I was going to return an item. Still no acknowledgement from her. She seen me at the cashier register waiting for someone so I look directly at her and she finally comes to the register. She finally said hi and ask me if I have a receipt and I say Yes , she scan the receipt and also my return items. She look like she doesn’t like her job or she doesn’t want to be there her name is Alianna . She was so rude, I will not be coming to this...

I stopped by here to search for some gifts for my "secret pal" at work. This is a new location that hasn't been around long. I was in the area visiting my brother and babysitting my nephew.

The store was clean but poorly stocked in what I was looking for, which was candles and snacks. I did get my nephew a large Mickey Mouse, which is his favorite.

I ended up going to Marshalls next doors, which was fully stocked and had many of the items I was looking for.
