Seminole Recreation Division — Local services in Seminole

It is great that they offer different classes for toddlers at Seminole Rec Center but I wish they hold classes somewhere far away from the playground. We went to the playground today and there was some beautiful cars for toddlers in the filed -so close to playground. As soon as my son saw those cars, he wanted to go there and play with them. I went to the office to sign him up at Lil' Driver class but one of the staff told me that the class is full! She also mentioned that many toddlers ask their parents for those cars but unfortunately the class iis full. I took my son to the playground to PLAY but those toddler's cars distracted him and he stared at them the whole time that we were in the playground while he did not have a chance to play with...

Used to be really fun except for Pow Wow. The carnies at Pow Wow were really rude and hateful. Now they don't have any of the free or paid events anymore for the holidays except Winterfest. Winterfest sucked because the man kicked 20 people off the end of the line for the snow hill even though there was still 30 minutes left. Don't pay for the teen trips to theme parks you may not even get on any rides if you're in the wrong group. I went twice two different years and never got to ride any rides because someone in my group didn't want to. The pool and mini water park are still nice. The gym is basic...

Trying to get to the pool is difficult being physically handicapped to say the least. The handicap parking directly in front of the pool is a joke because you then have to walk halfway around the building to get in and then walk halfway back to gain access. There are only 4 handicap parking spaces by the entrance door and are almost always full. They will open that same door to let children's party members in but not handicap people in. I asked the life guard to open the gate and explained about my handicap and she could have cared less. This is...
