This indoor facility has a fun but warm atmosphere honoring first responders, military and educators. They provide several different games that interact with the target to keep it creative and fun, so you are not just continously throwing at a plain bullseye! The staff (Tara) teaches you safety and how to properly throw the different sized axes and all while exuding her amazing personality and kindness. We had so much fun and will absolutely be doing this again! I highly recommend and am proud to support this business owned by a local firefighter and his wife. They truly created a unique facility that provides a fun experience in an indoor, safe environment that you can enjoy regardless of the weather conditions. They are conveniently located near several restaurants with plenty of parking. They even have a portable trailer that can come to you for special events and/or parties too! (They will be at the Wooly Worm Festival!) I highly, highly recommend!!! ...
Read moreI had a GREAT TIME! My family and I came down to celebrate my 20th birthday and they were more than welcoming! Our plan was to go skiing but sadly we had to wait for a later session. The men at Hero’s Axe House were very efficient in getting us started and having fun as soon as possible! Definitely recommend this as a pre-skiing activity or just for fun! AND if you go on your birthday you will feel so much warmth! They were so nice and got the entire room to wish/sing me a happy birthday! As for family friendly and child friendly, I over heard if you can find all of the toy mice hidden around you get a (not going to spoil it) surprise! They also has an arcade area with intentions of having a child play area as well! Over all a great place with great people definitely recommended to anyone...

Michael, our instructor, was awesome! He took the time to give us pointers in addition to the standard safety talk. He explained the ins and outs and watched us throw and gave us excellent pointers. We had so much fun!! Can't wait to go back. Thursday night is Ladies Night. Great deal!! Firefighters, take a patch to put on their wall. We played the standard axe throwing game of a standard target but then we switched to Battleship. Great selection of games. Just wished this was...
