Excellent local company that does not cut corners when it comes to service and quality as well as safety of lawn products!

When we bought our house, I was looking for a company to help maintain our lawn. I needed someone who would take care of weeds as well as do aeration and overseeding. I also needed for the products that are used to be safer than average pesticides I could get at a local store.

I was on a tight budget and David, who is responsible for sales, worked tiressly through several quote itirations with me to create a custom plan that offered several discounts. Also Agrolawn offers a flexible “pay as you go” payment plan as well as a nice discount if you prepay for all the services you selected, which was extra savings. David also gave great suggestions on how to handle different lawn care problems. I am very grateful.

So far we have had 3 visits by the Agrolawn technicians. They are always polite, smiling and willing to go the extra mile to make our lawn look best. I could see they were not rushing to get out and were concentrating on the work they were doing. When I had questions they were happy to provide answers. Very courteous and customer friendly. They leave printouts with information about the service that was performed on a certain day and helpful tips to maintain the lawn for that specific time of year. Unfortunately I don’t remember the name of the first technician that came but the second and third time we had Marcelo Valente, who was extremely professional, courteous and hard working.

Agrolawn is a bay-friendly company and they use premium granular slow release fertilizer and perform weed management. They use natural products whenever possible and combine several additional services (such as weed management) for each visit at no charge. Also, if you have a concern they will do a service call for you at no charge.

So, to sum up, I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for assistance in creating the best looking lawn for these reasons:

I signed up for AgroLawn in Fall 2020. When I received the new customer packet, I read over the safety data sheet that lists the chemicals used. I contacted AgroLawn to understand in which treatments each of the chemicals were used . I initially only received a partial response saying they arent in any of the ones I am having done this Fall but I wanted to know for next year so I asked some additional questions. I was handed off to Pat Bailey, the COO, who provided me an answer on one of the chemicals which conflicts with their safety material but within 3 minutes of that email, he wrote to me that all my services were being put on hold. It is important to note I never said anything in those 3 minutes warranting such a response. I told Pat that I did not wish for that and said I was merely educating myself on the products they used. I've repeatedly tried to follow-up but Pat has ignored all my communication. I even contacted David, the salesman, and he told me I have to deal with Pat and if he decided to no longer provide me service then that was his right. I agree it is a company's right; however, I do not understand why I would be cut off in such a petty manner when I was asking simple questions of their chemicals. So if you want to know what is used on your lawn and how safe it is, then don't use Agrolawn because they do not wish to do business with individuals who care about that...

I highly recommend AgroLawn! When we hired them to take care of fertilizing, our lawn was looking horrible. The prior company we had been using (large national chain) for 4-5 months had turned our nice, green lawn into a brown, patchy mess that was starting to get overrun with weeds. We ditched the large company and hired AgroLawn. After one treatment, our lawn was starting to come back to life, and after two treatments it seemed to be almost back to normal! We've been using AgroLawn for one and a half growing seasons, and we really are quite pleased with the appearance of our lawn. We have always pre-paid for services, and it's worry free. AgroLawn comes out when they say they will, they apply whatever is necessary at that particular time of the year, and they leave a note to tell us whether to water, or leave the application on the lawn. It's just that simple. These folks are top notch! They don't cost any more than the national chain, but they make a big positive impact. On occasion, I have had questions about a service to be performed, and the management at AgroLawn is very quick to respond to my emails.
