I bought amoxicillin liquid from them for my daughter. I went home put the bag down on the counter and went about my business and then went to give Her the evening dose and it was spilled all over the bag. The cap Was obviously not on tightly. I calledand I asked them to have a new one ready for me when I got there and they said they couldn’t do that because of “the cost“. so I went and presented it to the pharmacist in the same bag they gave it to me with half the liquid spilled all over the bag and she said “these are not made to be thrown around” and I explained to her that I did not throw them around and I put them on the countertop and they leaked all over the place. She then said “well I normally don’t take these back but I’ll take them back now“ to which I replied half of it’s gone because it leaked all over the place and I paid for a full bottle. She never once apologized. “ I know I put the cap on” is all she said. “ these need to be upright or they leak”. Would have been Nice if someone told me that when I picked it up the FIRST time.... Further, I’ve been buying amoxicillin a long time for my kids AND I’m a physician and am around meds all the time. I have never once had a bottle leak on me unless top was not screwed on..... ergo.... a simple apology really Would have been enough...
So I had to come out twice in snowstorm to get bottle of amoxicillin and not even so much as an apology. Just attitude and a rude pharmacist making this out to be my fault. Never getting scripts from CVS again!!! There are many options and I will exercise my right to chose- bye...

Read moreI have pulmonary hypertension. I rely on my prescription for 20mg Sildenafil to live a close to "normal" life - or as close as possible. My doctor submitted a refill prescription yesterday in the morning. It was July 4th so the pharmacy was closing at 2:00. When I didn't receive a notice from them, I called. The person or pharmacist who answered informed me that since they were closing at 2:00 they didn't start on my prescription. She chuckled when I said I lived 1/2 mile away (0.7 actually) and I could be there in 5 minutes. She said it wasn't ready anyway and to check back tomorrow (today, July 5th).
I hope she and the others had a nice 4th of July. I had to restrict my activities because I didn't have my medicine. Pulmonary hypertension can lead to a right ventricular failure which leads to a fatal heart attack. I guess they didn't read what the drug was for. It wasn't for ED (Sildenafil is also sold as Viagra in 100mg doses).
Rude and uncaring service means I'll be changing to Mike's Pharmacy.
UPDATE: I returned to CVS on July 5th and this time a man who I believe was the "senior pharmacist" filled my prescription. He looked visibly irritated that the staff had not filled my prescription, since CVS stocks Sildenafil, so I upgraded my review. But I might still...
