Friendly and helpful staff who manage to be empathetic without being condescending. I had no idea what to expect, but the enrollment process was very simple and painless, just bring your ID, proof of residence, and proof of income. The variety was a nice surprise. The abundance was almost overwhelming. Some of the donations we're obviously items that didn't sell well, but for someone who uses mainly natural foods, getting a huge bottle of Bragg's Liquid Aminos (a healthier soy sauce substitute that contains protein) was a wonderful surprise find! We left with staples, but also things like frozen lobster ravioli, blueberry muffins, and rennet for making cheese. I also took the nutrition classes which were fun and informative, and we always left with recipes, a little kitchen item like a meat thermometer or measuring cups, a recipe and the items to make it, and an item of produce like a fresh pineapple. Taking all four nutrition classes also earns you an extra shopping day. We are fortunate now to not need the Community Market's services, but when we moved here and we're suddenly in a tight spot, they were a life saver. Now that we're in a better place, I plan to volunteer...

Today is Wednesday June 26th 2024----OMG can someone watch the people that's helping others with the food ,,, there's a female old hateful very mean that's speaking I'll to others and no she doesn't say anything if someone other worker is there , put her in the very back unloading and unloading the food or at let put her helping put the food out,,,,,, this is the only problem this company has , she's the short one with the gray shirt black and gray hair chubby female she is straight down hateful , the words that female say should be around other especially with children omg I that this was christian place ,, if you can either sit her down and have a very serious talk with her or just remove her from the food part that was the worst time I ever had there ,,, just hateful, those words she say just so wrong ,,,,, I didn't know who to speak too about her behavior but she needs to keep that nasty mouth shut,,, I don't know if she wanted to be there or just a very...

I volunteer here and sometimes due to weather we have to close.. But we are normally opened to hand out groceries every Monday 12:30pm-5-:30pm, Wednesday 10am-3pm, Friday 10am-3pm and every third Saturday 10am-12pm.. We typically are closed on Holidays. Just come to location get a number and when your number is called you will be helped.. We try very hard to help as many people as we can.. We try very hard to be as friendly and helpful as possible and give you the assistance that you need.. Just be patient with us because there are many in need. And we love each and everyone that comes in for help..
