Homeland — Local services in Shawnee

Besides being at least 20 percent higher on most things (some higher) this store put in a self checkout center that is absolutely a joke,, and the help makes excuses for it and says it's your fault, telling you to "not touch it" or your using it wrong" and we look around and see everyone having same problems, they even said Walmarts we're broken ,I don't think so Walmart is smart enough to know you can't use the weight of stuff as a security measures ,we have used MANY self checkout machines and NEVER had these problems, we will probably start just driving a little farther and go somewhere else and save some money,so as to not be humiliated and degraded, the only reason we go here is because it's a little closer to our house, but go ahead and shop here if you like paying 5.00 for a gallon of milk, all the prices are jacked up it's ridiculously high, drive about 1 mile farther down independence to save a lot if you only need a few things you might save 10...

This place has the most expensive prices I've ever seen at a grocery store it's ridiculous. You definitely need to give them your Homeland card to get that extra money taken off or else you're going to be paying a fortune. Their fruit is really small and puny. It's sad. They should have more options for their cakes too. I asked the bakery lady if she could change them colors on a cake that I wanted and she said no. Anytime I go to Walmart to get cakes they will change any color I want. Also if I see two different cakes that I like and it's got to tears, Walmart will let me take the bottom tier from this cake in the top-tier from that cake and mix and match them. So I don't know why the lady at Homeland couldn't do that as well. Maybe it's laziness. Anyways other than that people are friendly. Sometimes they need more help because there will be lines and every aisle. They should hire...

The reason for giving 1 star to this place is because the manager angel is very rude and unprofessional she literally gives me the dirtiest looks every time I walk in the store she whispers to her employees to watch me because she thinks I’m stealing she follow me down every aisle and make me feel very uncomfortable she give me kids dirty looks and also the old lady that works there will accuse you of stealing any time something mess up on self check out and gets rude and says it’s her job to catch people stealing which is very embarrassing when your honest and pay for everything you get she literally takes all my items out of my bags and makes it look like I’m stealing this is the worst grocery store I’ve ever been to and I will never give my business to them again until they fire these unprofessional rude kids...
