The Suds Bucket on Harrison Street — Local services in Shawnee

Have to say this place is very nice it's very clean all new up to date machines. But had the worst experience on my first time visit. I arrived @ 8:55 pm I started to load the washers a lady came up to me and told me we close @ 10:00pm I told her I would hurry as fast as I can. I filled two washers thinking they would run around 17 min for some reason the second one set way longer than the other. Also cost a lot more. Later when it looked like there was no way I would be out of this place @10:00pm closing time a older man that walks around the place doing nothing to help the hard working ladies talked to me like I was a 5 year old child,scolding me, talking down to me he told me that the signs on the doors say 10:00pm and that's what time they close. This man was very hateful.Very belittling. After all said and done I was done and in my truck @9:59 pm why did I have to take all this abuse New to Shawnee so if there is another place to wash clothes that's where I will be going to spend my $13.00 on two washers and two dryers to wash and...

I give this place a one star for poor customer service in the evening time. It says on the door closes at 9 last dry at 8. I bought my clothes in at 750 ran a errand came back and my clothes was still drying and the door was locked? I asked the kid working what time you close he said we don't stay open for one dryer? Well I said my clothes are still drying so what do you mean he said we close before 830 i never fold my clothes i grab them and leave 😒 well a few weeks later I bought my clothes in and came back it was literally 820 and my clothes were still drying and the kid has the door locked again and this time I was mad because my clothes still had 2mins left and threatened to lock the doors next time so I said excuuuuse me I'm a paying customer like everybody else my clothes are still drying you are not gonna lock me out well anyways we had some words going to talk to manager change the time to close at 8 and where is the rules that you don't stay open for...

The lady there was rude and obnoxious acted like it was an inconvenience that we came in to do our laundry, very hateful because it was so close to the last wash time and she told us she wanted us out of there by nine I guess I guess whether our laundry was dry or not wow 😦 forgive me for having a life and things to do before I could do laundry I thought a Laundromat wanted people to come in and do their laundry I will not be going back there ever again, I will go somewhere else when I have big loads to do. I have a washer and dryer in my trailer but I thought I would get it all done at once but I will not be going back to the suds bucket to do anymore laundry I will go to another Laundromat and it'll probably be cheaper and I'm sure the staff will be a lot more friendly because you couldn't get any less friendlier than this...
