We had both our ceremony and reception at The Berkshire and truly could not recommend it enough. The space is absolutely stunning, with its exposed brick walls, black beams, and modern yet cozy feel. The newly renovated bridal suite is also beautiful—a perfect place to get ready, relax, and take a moment for yourself before all the excitement. Beyond the gorgeous venue, what really sets The Berkshire apart is the incredible staff, especially Emily, the venue coordinator. From day one she was so helpful, responsive, and patient, always making sure we had everything we needed. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Emily answered every question and made us feel completely supported. On the day of, Emily and her team were amazing. They made sure we had everything we needed while getting ready and went above and beyond to make our vision come to life, even matching the venue’s signage to coordinate with the custom signs we brought. After the ceremony, they transitioned the space into the reception quickly and flawlessly, with no stress on us at all. We also received so many compliments on the food. Multiple guests told us it was the best wedding food they had ever had. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented, adding even more to the experience. We are so grateful we chose The Berkshire. The space, the service, and the team made our day...
Read moreThe venue itself is absolutely beautiful, and we loved the overall look and atmosphere. The updated bridal suite was a great touch and made getting ready much more comfortable. The food was excellent, and our guests really enjoyed it. We picked this venue because it's very unassuming on the outside but once you get in, it's beautiful and we loved the food during our tasting.
That said, there were a few things that could have been better. We didn’t realize we had access the day prior, which would have helped with planning. On the wedding day, we weren’t greeted by anyone until around lunchtime, which made it difficult to get answers to questions like where to place reception décor or how to operate the string lights. There was also some uncertainty about whether the bar tab was properly closed when it switched to a cash bar later in the night. Lastly, the alleyway between businesses was noticeably dirty, with cigarette butts and food containers—we really wished that had been cleaned up given how often guests used it.
The bartenders were great, besides the not closing the tab we had no issues with them or the serving staff. Overall, I would recommend this venue for its stunning look on the inside and great food, but with some hesitation due to these logistical and...
Read moreThe venue it's self was GORGEOUS!! My son and his wife had there reception there. As for customer service I believe it was terrible, Emily the event coordinator was hard to reach through emails for my daughter in-law. So a lot of back and forth emails. The week before the wedding my son and his wife were confirming the color of the table clothes? Seemed a little later then what I would except for confirmation? Plus a comment that was made at the time of that about what was there dinner? Why would that have to be asked when they taste tested months ago? Making a statement like that to a bride and groom a week before, made them of course feel uneasy? But the food was delicious. One thing that I did not like and other guests were aware of was the lack of experience and manners that the servers had. They did not ask if people were done eating and would take there plates right from them? One of the guest had told me that her boyfriend seriously had his fork in his hand and his last bite in his mouth, when his plate was taken off the table! Please do better when training your staff! Especially when someone pays you over 12,000 for your beautiful venue! Don't think that's...
