My favorite beach in Wisconsin. I'm from Miami so I know a thing or two about beaches :) You'll find plenty of free parking, a wide sandy beach and a fun walk out to the lighthouse when weather permits. The water is always going to be cold (it's a glacial lake after all) but people do swim and surf here in Summer. Volleyball seems to be popular and there are often lots of sunbathers who really should use more sunscreen. There are restrooms that are probably perfectly safe now that the serial toilet clogger has been apprehended. Dogs are allowed so if you have a problem with dogs you may want to take that under advisement.

First off, I'm from Ozaukee county and spend plenty of time in Port Washington and its marina and parks. That being said I'm glad my girlfriend lives in Sheboygan and we spend time at Deland Park, its fantastic! The beach area is rivaled by nothing in the area, its huge! Very well maintained, clean restrooms and changing facilities. The pier and neighboring marina are great to stroll along with your sweetie or take a walk with your dog. No having to walk past the wastewater treatment plant to get to the beach like in Port. As much as I love Ozaukee County I'll recommend Deland Park to those inquiring about a great beach!

This park has it all! Sandy beaches, marina, boat ramp, rest rooms, grassy fields, levy to walk on out to the lighthouse, multiple playgrounds, shade, ample benches, sufficient trash cans, tennis & pickleball courts, sand volleyball courts, a mile+ long walkway along the shore, historical display, sailing club, picnic tables, picnic pavilion, and plenty of parking! They even allowed overnight RV parking. Clean. Quiet. Peaceful. Lovely! Sheboygan, you did this well!!! We will sing the praise of your quaint little town. Thank you for a lovely day.

Deland Park is a true gem along the Lake Michigan shoreline in Sheboygan. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this park offers something for everyone. The views of the lake are absolutely stunning, especially at sunrise or sunset, and the clean, sandy beach is perfect for relaxing, swimming, or walking along the shore.

One of the highlights is the marina and boardwalk area, where you can watch boats come and go or enjoy a peaceful stroll. There’s also a fantastic playground for kids, ample picnic space, and plenty of walking and biking trails that connect to other parts of the city.

The park is well-maintained, with clean restrooms and convenient parking. In summer, it becomes a lively hub with food trucks, kayakers, and even music events nearby. It’s also close to the Sheboygan Lighthouse and Blue Harbor Resort, making it easy to combine with other attractions.

If you’re looking for a relaxing and scenic spot to enjoy the outdoors, Deland Park is...

Smoothly bond Sand, softening the Winter soles of my bare feet, were heavenly! Open spaces to keep one's clearance, made my friend and myself feel completely safe. The sounds of the waves were sometimes breathtaking, as each one slapped the shoreline, so close to our baron feet. Areas were plentiful with cleaned, outdoor riding and climbing activity forms of gyms and rides. Certainly this Playland of soft sands and various rides, will perhaps even tease an adult to play. It has me. As for bathrooms, as with most parks, they become available as of Memorial Day, and close up once again after Labor Day. I should add, that. At that time period, attendants make available showers, bathrooms, and snacks. There are also paddleboats canoes, and John...
