I have to say, I usually have reservations/anxiety when buying a product online, sight unseen, without being able to check it out in person, especially from a company that I've never dealt with before; it's just impossible to know that the whole experience will live up to my expectations. Well, I'm here to say, that the Natural Mattress Company has, whole-heartedly, earned my complete trust. After a lot of research and online shopping, I found the mattress that I wished to purchase and gave the Natural Mattress Company a call and had the perfect experience (seriously)! The person who answered the phone was a gem. She patiently listened to all of my questions and concerns, and considerately answered them all with solid knowledge and helpful guidance. I received such authentic, personable service, it was obvious to me that they truly cared that I was going to be a satisfied customer. What a great experience. I have some respiratory issues and really needed to be in the store without other customers. The owner made sure there was a time my husband and I could visit and try mattresses without any stress of being exposed to other folks and without any pressure about time. We visited twice to make sure we were comfortable with our choices.

In addition to almost always answering the phone personally, the owners always returned calls and were available for lots of questions. They obviously believe very strongly in their product!

Because of the pandemic, shipping was slow, and the owner checked in with me regularly so that I didn't worry about the wait.

Well worth it. It was delivered today, and we cannot stop running to the bedroom and lying down! We are looking forward to many years of deliciously good sleep on a pure, environmentally good BEAUTIFULLY...

So, I made the mistake of visiting a mattress shop in Vermont—charming at first glance, until I found out it’s co-owned by none other than Mark and Carol H. Yes, those two. Based on my previous encounters, I’d trust a porcupine with balloon animals before I’d trust them with a mattress.

Let’s just say their business model seems to be: smile, shake your hand, then twist every word they said five minutes later. They’re not just manipulative—they’ve practically turned it into an Olympic sport. Eco-friendly mattresses? Please. At this point, I’d need lab results and a notarized affidavit before believing anything they claim is “green.”
