The Lighting House — Local services in Shelburne

Over the past 15 years, we have been spent literally thousands of dollars at The Lighting House on lighting fixtures, expensive lamps, and outdoor furniture, wanting to give the local company our business. We have even bought supplies to take to Florida with us for our homes there. Our experience this past fall has left us totally unsatisfied and frustrated. The details are too confusing, but we will not be supporting this company ever again. We feel the owner and manager have been totally unreasonable, leaving us with two kitchen pendant lights (costing over $1,000) that look like something we could have bought at Home Depot, and we still do not have the correct canopy caps. We advise all to find another lighting company to do...

First of all I'd like to mention that those who are writing a negative review, specifically stating that the Lighting House is expensive, totally need their heads examined. They offer high quality lighting options, period. You get what you pay for. If you want high quality for Walmart prices, you're dreaming!

Other than that, the staff are extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. and the Hubbardton Forge wrought iron chandeliers my mother bought are stunning. And, yes, they were very expensive but that goes back to what I mentioned before about getting what you pay for. We dealt with Frank at the The Lighting House, and he was exceptional in every possible way when it comes to service and creativity and execution, and also just being a darn nice guy. He worked within our budget. He gave us great ideas. He gave us options, and he had patience if we wanted to change our minds on certain things. I would highly recommend Frank at The Lighting House.
