I have been a member of Shelburne Athletic Club since it first opened. It is clean, well equipped and well run. If a piece of equipment is not working, a sign usually goes up saying that repairs are in progress. The staff is consistently very pleasant and helpful. The club has the trainers and the equipment that I have needed to regain fitness after orthopedic surgery and to stay fit thereafter. Dee Physical Therapy uses some of the club's equipment in working with their patients. This has facilitated my recovering from orthopedic surgery. I have also trained with Scott Lamothe for about sixteen years. He has helped me remain strong. Shelburne Athletic Club has evolved over the years with new equipment and new options for training. The latest addition is the new weight room. The club has members from young teens (who seem consistently well behaved and usually quite focused on their training) to members in their nineties. The facility is top notch-clean and pristine, excellent spaces for group fitness, an array of great classes with professional, knowledgable, caring teachers, incredible professional, kind, supportive trainers, work out space, and more. There is much more to this unique gym, however. The authentic kindness of those manning the front desk is above and beyond! It has all the machines and equipment you need, including showers (plus towels and robes for full time members). Great classes every day of the week too - I like HIIT, circuit training, CrossFit breathe, and fit 4 life but there is a wide range including lower intensity classes, stretching, pilates, yoga, and spinning.
