Alterations fit perfect, the staff is more than willing to help and create the absolute perfect fit for you! Everything is personal and they customize your experience so you feel at home. The layaway payment program helps out with storage and easy payments. They have a very large selection of dresses and also have a system set-up where you do not have to worry about repeating dresses at your own school. Me and my friend were excited to buy our prom dresses from here and we drove an hour to get to Joanis and they were closed an hour earlier than they were supposed to be and the owner walked out and told us that they would be open the following day 12-4, so we drove all the way back again the next day at 1 and they were closed yet again. Joanis schedule is a lie and they were a complete waste of time and gas. Would not come ever again. The owner lied to our faces. never again. I’m a smaller person. I went in when I just found out I was pregnant and was still small and got measured for a wedding that would be months after I delivered. they ordered me a size 20. I went on a different place for another wedding I was in and was sized as an 8. i called to ask if this was correct and before I even asked them for anything the immediately said “ there’s nothing we can do”. I had to pay 100$ extra for it to be able to fit me and it’s stilll not quite right because a dress THAT big would never fit someone right that’s small. so annoying. the girl who took my measurements definitely seemed off the day I got measured... as in on drugs. .
