Dollar General — Local services in Shelbyville

The employees are friendly but this is a busy store in a small town with no other shoppi g avaulable. They need more help. I never go in there when there arent those big carys blocking many of the aisles. They dont have enough employees to stock the shelves so the carts are just left everywhere. I've been trying to get down the aisle with the blankets and curtains ( I need both) for over a month. Still blocked. Tried again this morning but no luck. I need totes too but they have been on the shelf for weeks without a price. You have to bring them up to the cash register and wait in line for them to give you a price. I'm on my way to Wal-Mart. It's crowded there but I can get down the aisles and the prices are...

REVISED TO ONE STAR... Open till ten means ten. This is the 3r time in 5 weeks that I have went to this DG and it was closed before 10. And I'm not talking about 2-5 minutes. Tonight on March 4th, 2020 it was quarter till and the doors were locked.

Last August I bought some Christmas ornaments from the other DG in town. But I needed one more letter. So I went here and asked when they'd be putting their out. Oh next week they'd say. Didn't happen. But I continued to ask every week, well it NEVER happened. I needed a "J" to complete my sons name Jon. To hang on his wall at the Rehabilitation hospital, Esp. Kidz. It was important to me and they'd get red because I asked over and over....

I absolutely HATE going into the one by my house bcuz they are "ALWAYS" out of stuff that I need to buy when I go there.. And granted I know the pandemic has messed us up so it's hard to hire people right now BUT man the people that work here complain about that place all day every day like that's what I wanna hear when I go shoppin..... Anyways this store needs cleaned up or shut down bcuz it's so useless to have a store that close to ya but can't go in and shop bcuz they don't have what ya wanna shop for.... Ok I'm DONE...
