The Poppy Boutique — Local services in Shelbyville

Not sure why this place has such a high rating. Everything is extremely over priced, the owner is rude, never felt welcome in the shop, I believe she thinks she’s the only boutique around. Which is sad because I heard toodley toys supplies them with products. I would never take my child in that store due to the treatment I’ve encountered. I’d avoid the pink poppy unless you wanna be treated poorly. Unless you have tons of money to blow, she might treated you differently then.

ALSO, STOP LETTING YOUR CUSTOMERS PARK IN THE NO PARKING ZONES LOCATED AROUND YOUR BUILDING. You have a parking lot right? USE IT. Congestion in the street is your businesses...

I'm someone who dislikes boutiques, but my MIL got me a gift card and I had to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by what they had. I'm a granola girl from the West and don't care for most boutique stuff, but they had clothes and jewelry that I loved! I even got some sustainable beauty/cleaning products.
