Walgreens Pharmacy — Local services in Shelbyville

Going miserably downhill in quality since I started using this pharmacy to collect medications almost a decade ago. I struggled for 2 months to pick up a medication that was prescribed in May and I did not receive until barely over 1 month ago. It was after repeatedly being told in circles that there was an insurance issue, then it wasn't in stock & it'd be ordered, and I'd check again later to find an "insurance issue" after which I'd be told the medication was out of stock. Only after multiple months of calling & visiting did the pharmacist tell us the insurance was refusing to allow us to collect because it was picked up too recently, in May, when it was sent but never filled by the pharmacy. Meaning this pharmacy is falsely reporting to my insurance that they're giving me my prescriptions, which is fraud!. Then when I finally went to collect the medication, I was told AGAIN that it was never ordered into stock! So more waiting happens, it's finally fully ready, and i even have to end up paying for needles out of pocket once or twice bc of these "insurance issues" that are actually the fault of the pharmacy's fraudulent claims; What do I find when I go home? THE PHARMACY DIDN'T EVEN GIVE ME THE CORRECT NEEDLES, causing me to miss further doses & forcing me to finally move my business to the pharmacy at Walmart just a street away [who sold me my needles OTC for actual pennies instead of leaving me out to dry while claiming my insurance money :^)]. On top of that, when collecting medications from this pharmacy for other family members since I took my business away, we keep going to the pharmacy to find that theyre taking an hour lunch break just to close at 3PM on many WEEKDAYS. Who needs an hour lunch for a paltry five hour shift where they completely fail, time and time again, to do their jobs as health workers? If it was insulin someone was having this trouble with, they would have risked death multiple times now because this pharmacy is both negligent and fraudulent in its operations. Unacceptable. Nobody in this store should be in business, let alone employed in caring for other...

1. Speed of service slow to moderate (6 PM)
2. Tried to get a covid and flu shot (wait time was 2 hours)
3. Original price of medication (leaps and bounds more expensive then other pharmacies)
4. Plastic bag was used to hold medication in (not environmentally friendly)
5. Larger dram was used then needed for medication (waste of space)
