Have taken my car there three times to be serviced. One time for an oil change, one time to have new tires put on. The first time after the oil change two days later I found out they lost one of the bolts on the front of the skid plate. Didn't tell me about this. Was going to church the next morning on i-64 in the front of the skid plate fell down and started scraping down the road. Had to pull into another Walmart to have it bent back in place and zip tied. Now in order to have it oil changed they have to cut the zip ties and raise zip tied every time they won't do anything else to fix that. Next time bought four new tires, within a week one of the tires failed they had to replace that. Now this last time I changed the oil the next day airbag sensor start going off in the car. Took it back to have them look at it and was told quote we don't do anything with sensors. This will be the last time I take my car to be serviced at a Walmart center. I tried to give them the chances to make it work three...
Read moreI have gone to Walmart Auto Center in Shelbyville, Ky. for tires and oil changes for a few years. In the past, they were always great, and the technicians had been working there for years. It appears there has been a change in employees and/or management of the auto center. On Monday, 7-21-25, I had a very bad experience. I went for an oil change, tire rotation, and balance. When I was getting in my vehicle to leave, I noticed oil on my front bumper, front right fender, and even scratches on my front right fender. There was also oil spilled under the hood. I spoke to the manager about it and was told they don't drain the oil by removing the oil plug any longer. They use an evacuation system to pump the oil out. When doing so, oil got everywhere, and the machine is what scratched my fender. I asked why they don't use fender covers when working on vehicles and received no response. I used to recommend people to go to this location, but I will no longer do so. I am very disappointed and...
Read moreI went to the Walmart Tire & Lube Center SHELBYVILLE this week to get a flat fixed. While I ended up buying a new set of tires, and I have to say— THEY WERE REPAIRING ISSUES CAUSED DIRECTLY BY THE FRANKFORT STORE.
When I pulled in, the staff greeted me right away, asked what I needed, and took the time to walk me through a few tire options that fit my budget. No upselling, no pressure—just straightforward advice. I appreciated that they explained the differences between each option in plain English, not car jargon.
My car has never run better and I will never go to the Frankfort Store again. MY SAFETY WAS AT RISK and I'm sure I was hoo-dooed out of $1K by Frankfort.
THANK YOU SHELBYVILLE WALMART TIRE CENTER FOR BEING KNOWLEDGEABLE, HONEST, THOROUGH,...
