Dr. Hanson is the best dentist I've ever gone to. I'll share in detail my experience with him and River Valley Dental.

First.....I had a great experience with the dental hygienist; She took her time and did a great job with cleaning. She was also sure to make sure I was comfortable during our time together.

Second.....Dr Hanson. He had to perform a root canal and crown. Admittedly I get very nervous with this procedure, mainly because of the pain. Well, he began with the insertion of the needle to deaden the pain. Most times I dislike this because it seems to be as painful, if not more so, than the drilling. He took a couple minutes to slowly deaden the pain. And believe me when I tell you this. I FELT ABSOLUTELY NO PAIN FROM THE NEEDLE INJECTION...NOTHING. I even had to ask him if he actually used the needle after he pulled it away from me. Very impressive!!

Third.....The entire procedure was pretty much pain free, and Dr. Hanson continually asked me how I was doing. He goes to a lot of trouble to make sure his patients are comfortable.

Fourth.....follow up. He texted me from his personal phone later that evening to make sure I was doing alright. And again about 7 days later.

I highly recommend Dr. Hanson for his skill as a Dentist. And if you are like me and have a tremendous dislike of dentistry because of the associated pain, this...

Oh my goodness. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! My kids have never had a positive experience with our previous dentist. I was completely prepared for another screaming fit- and we'd leave without the kids teeth being cleaned once again. We got there and the atmosphere was amazing, the front desk ladies were incredible- but even they paled in comparison to our amazing hygienist. Both of my kids have asperger's, and change is super hard on them. However, out hygienist was so patient, and wonderful with them. She explained everything to them, and told them that they were in control and they could stop at any time. They got their teeth cleaned for the first time in their entire lives because of their patience! Even Dr. Hanson was terrific with them. I am so glad I decided that enough was enough and switched our whole family. Thank you River...

My hygienist was Taylor, she was filling in for someone who was missing. Taylor was very nice and professional. My teeth feel clean. I met Dr. Hanson for the first time and he seemed nice, I didn't get to talk to him too much. I'm a new patient to this dentist. 😌 Experiance Good so far.

4/15/2022. Everyone here is so helpful and friendly. I have had extensive work done to my front teeth. Dr Tanner Higham has been my dentist. The Dr, technicians & front desk ladies have been so helpful in my making decisions for my life long appearance. I appreciate everyone taking part in this process.
