Laurel Technical Institute — Local services in Shenango Township

Unprofessional school. My experience is with their online classes. I was recently sick with a respiratory infection that turned into pneumonia. I was hospitalized for a week, most of which, I was sleeping because I felt too weak or tired to stay awake any length of time. I contacted them as soon as I was home and tried to begin my school work right away, though I wasn’t feeling my best. But couldn’t sign into Canvas. Contacted my advisor Kristen Hogue, but she was out of the office for Thanksgiving break from Thursday-Monday. I emailed as well. Monday morning, my email account was deleted and my online status says withdrawn. No one ever called or contacted me. And I left a message at the school today. Honestly this school all in all has been amazing! Teachers are so understanding of our personal lives & they truly do help us one on one if we need it! The teachers have all made time for us especially when we need the extra help! Mr. Sabino has been awesome he tells us when we are wrong but he also applauds the good things! Mrs. Rosta has been calm and very understanding as well. Mrs. Wright she also is an inspiration. She picked up our class and became our teacher a month and a half in and she has pushed us to be the best & has really helped us through Medical Law & Ethics so deep down I truly want to say thank you to LTI & my amazing teachers...

LTI has been one of the best decisions I have made in my life. These teachers are amazing!! Mr. Sabino has so much patience and is an awesome teacher. A thank you to Mrs. Rosta for pushing me when I wanted to quit. A thank you to Mrs. Mittwede for seeing potential in me and telling me, that made me feel really good and made me realize my hard work is being recognized.
