Super Horrible memories for my family. Hotels / Motels in this area were overbooked or they have a room with one bed only. So I booked this motel because I didn't have a choice ( need a non-smoking room for 2 adults and 2 kids). When we come to check in at 9.20 pm the men at the front desk were nice but a little surprised. No room ready for check so we decided back later. After 10 pm we are back for check-in. The room which we got looked ok but was an outstanding disgusting smell like someone just finish smoking tobacco or marihuana. My kids were not able to stay in this room. We asked for other nonsmoking rooms and the situation turned wrong. 11 pm they switch to another room but very dirty, disgusting, and in poor condition. The room has a horrible look ( see photo attached) and unable to touch anything or use the bathroom because was dirty and everything around was urinated. The woman who was working there, said she clean up this room, so my wife show her how she lies to us. Later she gave us new beds and sheets but towels were not provided. Before midnight, we finally put our private blankets on the bed and go sleep. The next day morning we just took our stuff and at 7.20 am left this horrible place.
Hello,
Due to the limit of reviews online, I decided to add a note to your reaction to my review. You have reported that after a thorough investigation by your management, the room was cleaned by your team before my check-in. The sheets and pillowcases were indeed in good condition. Perhaps it was happen but only for your information not for customer satisfaction.
If I remember well during check-in the room was unavailable and I was informed by the front desk that the cleaning person had just quit his job. Therefore, because the room was paid for a week earlier, you found us another unfortunately badly smelling room, and then after we without choice moved to a dirty badly standing room. You know this is true and my wife and children can confirm -:what was happening and which room conditions we had to stay. To this day, I still feel that terrible smell, and each time I see an advertisement on your hotel/motel chains, I...
Read moreYou are greeted by a hotel with filthy windows and a parking lot that has not been maintained. The lobby had a heavy disgusting odor, emanating from who knows what. The pool was closed. We did not dare drink the coffee that was allegedly available-we did not check it out. The room was dark and filthy and not maintained. We asked for a blanket for each bed and were given what looked like an old bed spread. They were full of cigarette burns too many to count and who knows when they were last laundered. I slept above the covers. We did not walk on the carpet unless we had shoes on and were afraid to drink the water. The inside of the microwave was rusted and should have been replaced. No iron or working hairdryer. The replacement hair dryer that was given had a greasy, slimy, yellowed cord. I have never seen any appliance that dirty. The corner molding on the wall between the sink and the closet was broken and protruding. We bought Clorox wipes and Lysol to disinfect all surfaces. The bathroom ceiling had large paint peels. The bathtub was so grimy that the wet wipes would not clean it. We showered with shower shoes on. When disinfecting the toilet, I happened to notice a thick black build up under the rim of the toilet bowl. -Black Mold? They aren't enough adjectives to describe this horrific hotel room. I have attached pictures. But if you have ever viewed pictures of a house and then see it in person, you know how much a picture hides. This was the worst hotel room, that I have ever seen. Went to Greenville, Pa and stayed the second night of our trip at a local hotel that was...
Read moreThe only positive thing that I can say about my stay is that the front desk woman was very professional and sweet. Our room door was very difficult to open. Our room was smoke free however all of our linens and bath towels stunk of smoke. Stains on the floor and comforter, bedding was extremely thin too. Absolutely no refrigerator or TV remote in the room. Hair dryer was broken and the outlet in that area didn't work. When we went to shower the first towel had two brown boot prints on them. Like someone stepped in grease and picked their towels to clean them. Then they weren't washed or tossed. Towel number two had three large circles where they were see through from just being old. Wash cloth number one had the rooms past tenants face still on it and number wash cloth number 2 was missing. We had a total of two towels and 1 wash cloth in the entire room. Apparently one of my neighbors brought their dog who serenaded us a majority of the evening. Most hotels have some complimentary items incase you forgot something. So charge, some don't however they still have them. I went down to the desk to ask for a plastic fork or spoon since we got KFC and they didn't pack any. One cutlery item was all I needed. Nope. Not only was I told that they don't have those to give out but I even offered to pay and was told that "he doesn't keep any items for guest in stock." Appears that at one time they offered a breakfast. I have stayed in much cleaner cheaper hotels and plan on doing that...
