After 17 years of marriage my wife and I decided to renew our wedding vows. For this special occasion I needed to find a ring that was both one of a kind and perfect, just like my spouse.
The journey of looking for something special wasn't something I was going to take lightly and I wanted to make sure that my beautiful bride was involved in the process. So for months we spent many a weekend making long treks to jewelry stores far and wide. Some of the stores included Dominion Jewelers, Quest, Tiffany's, Mervis and I Gorman. The quality of the rings in all these stores was nice but the customer service experience was vastly different from store to store. After looking at many different rings none of them garnered the reaction from my wife that I had expected she would receive when she found "the one."
For many a weeks we were taking the major highways into DC, Rockville and past by the Christian Caine advertisement billboards as we did. I personally didn't think we would find what we were looking for just miles away from where we lived so I didn't give Christian Caine much thought until I started getting fed up with having to make the long drive into DC only to be disappointed when we couldn't find anything we liked. Only because I felt like I was running out of options did I decide to take my wife to Christian Caine to look to see what we would find.
That decision was like a breath of fresh air. Instantly upon walking in you could tell the store was just, "different." EVERY, SINGLE element of the buying experience was far above and beyond what we experienced anywhere else. The staff at Christian Caine truley make you feel as if you're family and they have your best interest at heart. They spent a great amount of time just understanding our needs and requirements before they even started to identify possible solutions. At the end we decided to go with a custom made ring based off of a design that we saw at the store while we were there but with some slight alterations to fit my wife's taste. To make things more challenging our turn-around time for the ring was rather short due to the fact that we had spent so much time looking for rings and coming up short that the forum at this time was just weeks away at this point.
The day had come to pick up the ring and as we walked in the store to see the final product the staff behind the desk seemed to be more excited than we were for us to see "the ring." I seriously can't put into words just how beautiful the end product was, to say it was amazing would be selling it short. The ring was beautiful just like my bride of 17 years and better yet, see the look she had her face when she saw it for the first time made the entire experience perfect. None of the other stores came close to the quality of the ring that was made for us at the price point we received. I easily knew that I found the best deal after months of looking and it was right in my back yard.
Christian Caine not only made a sale that day but they won customers and advocates for life. Thank you to all the staff that took part in making our experience special, we greatly appreciate it and will never forget all you did for us to make sure everything went without a hitch!
HUGE LESSON LEARNED, you don't have to drive outside of the small town to get the best...
Read moreI want to give a HUGE shout out and a big THANK YOU to Christopher and everyone at Christian Caine Jewelers. It finally came time to “pop the big question” and let me tell you.. I had no idea where to begin… I knew I wanted a special ring, something new, creative, and different but I didn’t know exactly what. My (now) fiancé has a quite a mix of tastes and doesn’t like “cookie cutter” things. I would randomly try to poke and ask questions until I had a small list of things that she does and doesn’t like when it comes to rings. Even though I had a small list, when I walked into meet with Christopher for the first time, I was still very nervous and had no idea exactly what I wanted to do. We talked a little, walked around the show room, then sat at the table where his pencils and sketch pad were sitting. As soon as that pencil hit the sketch pad and he started drawing, I could see a ring take placed based off the list I gave him. Instantly, a HUGE weight was lifted off my shoulders as every line was put on paper. When he was done with his sketch, I was in love. What he sketched was PERFECT.
From there, the real fun began. He took his sketch and turned it into a 3d model and eventually a CAD design. Then, once the fine tweaks were made on the CAD he started the molds and actually creating the ring. It was so awesome to be updated with texts, videos, and pictures every step of the way. Also, the final presentation of the ring to me when finished was MIND BLOWING. It was such a personal and unique experience. I loved EVERY STEP of it. And… I actually got to put the final touches and polish on the ring. Very nerve wracking because I didn’t want to mess up and send it flying off the buffing wheel but Christopher was there to encourage and guide me ever step of the way!
I really can’t say enough good things about Christopher, and Christian Caine. If you want a special experience, and AMAZING craftsmanship… do yourself a favor and check them out for your...
Read moreChristian Caine, himself, is a brilliant and talented jeweler. He is very personable with a pleasing and helpful personality. Unfortunately, he surrounds himself with 2 women, one named Mary, the other with long dark hair (sorry, don't know her name), who are consistently condescending, purposely obtuse, and, sorry to say it, liars. We have had problems with Mary for over a year. She will gleefully look down her nose at you and work diligently at making you feel like an unworthy intrusion. We are both successful highly educated professionals (one with PhD and one with Masters +) and make a very good combined income. Yet, apparently, we are not good enough to grace Christian's Shop.
Yesterday, we were clearly told by Mary to come into the store today to get my Rolex watch band replaced while we wait. Mary stated, "Yes. Tomorrow will be good because the Christmas rush is winding down and the goldsmith will be in." So, we arrive today, even rearranged my work schedule to do so, only to be told by the long haired woman that "Mary clearly told you that you could drop it off today, but that the goldsmith couldn't get to it until well after the New Year. I even overheard her conversation with you yesterday." We confronted her on this (my wife heard all yesterday as we were on speaker phone), but these ladies stuck together and vehemently denied all. . . downright willing to lie! Unbelievable!
I was hoping to actually talk with Christian today to initiate a 2-3 ct diamond custom anniversary ring for my wife. However, since we have to continuously deal with these very unpleasant women, we will have to find someone else. So sorry Christian! You may want to rethink your front desk staff, as I seriously believe they are harming...
