Cleo's Furniture — Local services in Sherwood

About a month ago we came into Cleo’s to start looking for new furniture. We needed living room furniture and dining room table and chairs. Cleo’s has always been a must stop for us because we have always ended up purchasing at least some furniture needed at the time we were looking. Chase greeted us and of course dug right into our needs and wants. We let him know right from the start that we were in the final stages of building our house, and that it would be after we closed before we purchased. We found a couple different living room pieces we loved, but nothing else at that time. When we left, we told him we’d be back. Not sure he believed us, but he took our number and had kept in touch without being pushy!

Well the time has come and back to Cleo’s we go. We found a living room set we decided worked best for us, plus it’s BEAUTIFUL! And mentioned we needed a table, chairs and something to put our TV on. He took us in the back and it was like the furniture Gods were shining down! The most BEAUTIFUL table, chairs and buffet we have seen had just been delivered that day! And it matched our living room set…SCORE!

We immediately said, “ok, let’s make it happen”, and that’s exactly what he did! Chase was very easy to work with and made the purchase less difficult than ever! Thank you Chase!

The actual experience of dealing with the people in the store was very good. Preston did a very good job. He gave all of the different options for financing and made the overall trip to the store pleasant. Where we have a problem is in the delivery of this furniture. I did not have the help I thought I would to pick the furniture up. I was told in the store that the delivery fee was $100. I called them to get delivery set up and was told that it is $100, but every added piece of furniture was $10 more, which I wasn't told in the beginning. This is being delivered less than 20 miles away from their warehouse. Spend this kind of money, and they can't deliver it. You need to know that good customer service is more than just being cordial and helpful in the store. In that, you are sorely lacking. You got me once. It won't happen again. ...

I don’t enjoy shopping and typically prefer to order on-line. But, furniture is one of those things you need to see and experience before buying. I walked into Cleo’s expecting the usual pushy salesman. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! I found exactly what I was looking for, and a couple of things I didn’t know I was looking for. Lol! All thanks to Jani Aultman. She was so friendly and down to earth. I’ve never met anyone so easy to talk to! She listened to what I had to say and was able to point me in the right direction without hovering or pushing for a sale. She was readily available when I had a question and very knowledgeable about each item. I’m still not a big shopping fan. But, in the event I need something in the future, I look forward to finding it at Cleo’s, with Jani’s help. I’ll...
