The order was ready when I and my friend Patience arrived to pick up the cake. We walked in and she brought the cake out, it was a full-built tiered cake which was not what I had ordered or advised in the email order. She said I'm so sorry you did state that you wanted the 12 and 10 stacked, and the 8 and 6 inch separate. She asked what time I needed the cake by and I advised by 1:00 PM at the latest and that we would have no one there to decorate or deal with the cake after 3:00 PM. She advised that they would have the cake delivered to the venue which was Greens at North Hills Country Club in Sherwood, at 1:00 PM. 1:00 PM comes around and they are still not there with the cake. I called her and she said that they are still working on it. She called about 1:30 PM and said they were on the way. They show up about 1:45 PM and all of the layers were separated. I advised that it is still not correct and that the 12 and 10 inches needed to be stacked. She and a younger girl left again with the cake. I advised once more that we have to have the cake back ASAP. They did not show back up with the cake until 3:30 PM and I did not have time to deal with it anymore since my hair and makeup artist was already there. I had to apologize and let them know I would be right back to deal with the cake. Which I should have not done. The cake was finally correct but not until much later than the agreed-upon time. There was no one there to help with the cake or anything. I had previously stated that multiple times. I paid over $400 for hair and makeup to be done and for me to put them on hold so I could deal with the cake, is unacceptable. We are requesting at least 30-40% of our total price refunded back to us. The office manager refused any type of reimbursement and advised that because I accepted the cake at the end of the day, there is no refund. After I explained everything. She would not give me a mailing address or the owner's name or information. I called the office manager again and got into an argument with her and I demanded the owner to contact me. A few hours later I got a call from "the owner" who did not give me her name she said times are hard and we already are struggling to make a profit off these cakes. She said she will have to talk to her partner and give me a callback. I never heard back from anyone. We have also filed a complaint with the Attorney General and in the process of filing a claim in small...
Read more(This review is based on their catering services.) I worked with Nicole Randle to have them cater my wedding back in May. I chose them because I love their food, their pricing was competitive, and the servers were going to cut and serve my wedding cakes (we had two). Nicole and I communicated through email as well as text/phone conversations. I made it very clear how long I needed the two servers and that we needed them to cut and serve our cakes. Nicole was adamant they would cut and serve the cakes for us as long as we did so during the hours we agreed upon when I paid for services. I agreed and enforced this at my wedding. Turns out the servers left EARLY so when it was time for us to cut the cakes there was a scramble to get someone to do it, utensils, etc. I did NOT appreciate the servers leaving before their scheduled time and contacted Nicole in the days after my wedding. I was nice about it but told her that's no way to do business so when she offered to do something for my troubles we both agreed a gift card to the cafe would be fine. I wasn't trying to get something for nothing, just letting her know so they could remedy the situation and do better in the future. I never received anything so I contacted her and she said she'd mail it that day. Nothing. So I emailed her. No response. I sent her one last email telling her it wasn't about the gift card at that point but the principle. I also told her I leave reviews for businesses/services I use and that I wanted to leave a positive review but the way I was dismissed left a bad taste in my mouth. So, here I am cautioning anyone using their CATERING SERVICES TO BEWARE. Yes, their food is tasty. Yes, their prices are competitive. But do you really want to worry about something going wrong during your event? I just can't bring myself to visit the cafe either. I worry about the way they'll do...
Read moreReview #3 (May 2022): My sister and I went to Two Sisters for breakfast. The young Hispanic girl at the counter didnât smile once or greet us. The heavy set black girl was also not friendly at all. I understand that mornings can be rough though. My sister ordered a croissant ham and cheese. I ordered the breakfast that includes pancakes, hash brown, eggs and bacon. The only good thing were pancakes. I took one bite from everything else and couldnât finish. The eggs were weird and greasy, the hash brown was crispy but cold and also extremely greasy, and bacon was cold. I gave my eggs to my sister who also didnât like them. My sisters croissant was pretty busted looking. It was filled with ham so much ham that the bottom piece of croissant was completely soggy. She ended up taking it off her sandwich. We ordered a banana pudding cup to go. It was good but needed more cookies.
Removed 2 stars because of the bad attitude and because I only enjoyed one item from my entire meal.
April 2022 review - 5 stars: I didnât take any pics when I posted a review 3 years ago. I recently had the Philly Cheesesteak from Two Sisters and wanted to add that it was good. Definitely something I would recommend. Iâve had more authentic cheesesteaks but this is Arkansas and wouldnât expect it to taste like something from the east coast. The homemade chips grew on my the more that I ate them. I would have preferred French fries.
Review from 2019 - 5 stars: Great little place to eat at. I went to lunch with my friend and enjoyed everything I ordered. My friend ordered sweet potato fries with powdered sugar on top and a side of maple syrup. I was extremely skeptical but after trying them I was blown away at how good they were. The prices were so low it was kind of surprising. My order came up to around $5. The cakes looked amazing and will be...
