I am truly surprised of how now days people can surprised you especially when you have been their customer for so long. I usually get grocery from this store and I also use their service of Sigue which is a company that Hispanic store use to send money to different countries in Latin America. Horrible experience that I had to go through on this Saturday where I had to send money to my country as an emergency. To my bad luck this girl who at the time was not paying attention to what she was doing I had specifically told her that I wanted to send money through Sigue, she made two transactions under my name which I only need it one. Now Sigue under there system shows that I did two transactions and that only one was pay. To all people out there please pay close attention to what your paying and always get a receipt. If for any circumstances you ran to my situation don't even bother talking to the owner funny thing is that they would not take ownership to their employees...
Read moreI just came here tonight and I already love and appreciate this place so much. I came in to order a cut of meat for lechon. I put in my order, and even though they've already made their order for next week, they're going to go through the extra trouble of checking to see if they can make this happen for me. Based on their effort to please the customer alone I give them 5 stars. I'm an American Puerto Rican, who's really outside the culture, but these folks were really great about my awkwardness here. The sights and smells alone really took me back, and whatever happens with this order, they got a customer...
Read moreThis is a favorite place for specialty items and is a routine stop for our family. We cook for ourselves a great deal and also make food for our little dogs with the same meats. Until recently we used to visit a butcher down in Columbia City as the variety, quality and prices were excellent. The whole family approves. The fresh tropical produce, farm cheeses and bakery make it worth a stop alone. It is also the best place for dried Jamaica flowers for tea. The clerks, butchers and staff always take the time to answer inquiries, even my astoundingly dumb questions about âWhat is this for?â gringo curiosity and have found awesome new rituals to add to our daily lives. Oh! Parking is definitely an adventure so be patient as Aurora...
