After ordering directly from Hallmark's website, my order was split, with half of the order arriving at my home and the other half shipped to Anna's Hallmark Shop (30 miles away). After waiting for my turn and even allowing someone to go before me because I knew I needed special attention, I was rudely treated by the owner. I had brought the order that was shipped to my home address with me with the intention of making sure all of the components were working properly, as I had seen from other reviews that sometimes the ornament was received not working.
The first thing the owner said upon seeing the boxes in my hand was, "I can't do anything about what's in that box." To which I responded, "I'm here to pick up an order. I brought this along to test that the ornaments will work with the power cords that were shipped here." She continued to say, "That's not my problem," which my daughter from 2 aisles away heard her say. During some back and forth, she repeatedly said, "I can't help with that." I finally said, "Would you please get my order." My daughter arrived at the register and called the lady out for being rude, to which she responded incredulously, "I am?" When she said, "I'm the owner." My daughter said, "Well, we won't be spending any money here, and we won't be coming back," and we left.
It was apparent to us that she was unhappy and rude as a result of the fact that we hadn't purchased from her shop. She seemed to want to assert that she wasn't Hallmark and was a separate entity. I think, at one point, she even said, "I'm not Hallmark."

The first older women at the register was immediately very rude to me and seemed to be so confused and irritated with the transaction. Keep in mind that I had my 18 month old grandson with me. I was then directed to the owner, Anna, who was equally as rude. Then they both state “oh, no returns on seasonal items”. They pointed to a small hand written sign (which I did not see before), it is not on the receipt and the person who sold it to me never said a thing. It took 35 minutes for the transaction to happen.    Read moreI was driving through Shoreview and thought I would stop into this Hallmark. I should have kept on driving. Horrible and rude customer service. I walked into the store and the bell rang. I saw the sales associate crouching underneath the register and started to look around the store. I was the only one in the store on a Saturday afternoon. Ten minutes later, she was still crouching and finally got up. She just gave me a dirty look and never said hello or asked if I needed help.
