Finneys Ace Hardware — Local services in Sidney

I would rate this experience zero stars if I could. I'm unsure if my treatment was due to being a woman, but it felt highly uncomfortable. When I entered the store, all four staff members were at the front. A male employee greeted me and asked if I needed assistance, which I declined. Despite this, each of the other staff members, who were present during our conversation, approached me one by one within a span of five minutes to offer help. I continued to decline, as I prefer to browse independently and know where to find assistance if needed. However, they proceeded to follow me around the store, positioning themselves as though they were organizing products while clearly watching me. This behavior was invasive and unsettling, leaving me feeling disrespected. Should I ever need to shop there again (which I hope doesn't happen), I will likely request specific items up front and wait for staff to bring them to me, even if it takes longer. I would prefer this over being treated in...

I called before coming down to see if they could return a package by UP s. Was a shirt by the girl on the phone. Yes, they could do that. When I walked in. The lady looked at the box which had an old blame on it. And said we're not FedEx. I said no I need to send it back to UPS. She then proceeded to walk to the back of the store with no instructions. When I got all the way to the back of the store, the young lady told me that she is not a UPSstore. I told her that was why I called to save time. She's a shrugged her shoulders. This is the worst service I have ever gotten in this store by an employee. The one on the phone was very nice and I would give her 5 stars. But the one that handled me when I came in sucked. The store manager runs this place pretty strict. She and her husband, of whom has passed away, has always kept the store in good shape,of which when they bought into it, was a True Value, but has been replaced with Ace, and the name brands that go with it. Employees are well versed in greeting you, with what are you looking for, and or can I help you find something. Mostly young people with some older, of whom don't seem to know what it that you're looking for. It's a good store with a little bit of everything. Usually you can...
