Shoppette and Class Six — Local services in Sierra Vista

I went in tonight at about 19:45 to get a refill of ice tea with my own cup as I have done for 25 + years. I always price challenge the refill cost to match Circle K- 69 cents. No matter which shoppette I go to it is accepted, and sometimes they ring it up before I even say anything! The AAFES policy on price challenge is to accept anything under $10 without arguing, unless that has changed? Tonight the manager- Johnathan- refused to honor my price challenge, said they do not accept a price challenge on a refill and said it would be 89 cents. Instead of graciously taking my word for it he argued with me. I dumped my drink back at the soft drink dispenser, put my ice cream sandwich back and left. He essentially was calling me a liar and he had to get that 20 cents more for the drink. He ended up getting nothing and Circle K got my money. Ft Huachuca Class Six Staff is the most friendliness and helpful team I've ever worked with on a military installation. Emilynn, the manager, is extremely courteous and helpful during my time on post. She spent extra time with me and my buddies to answer any questions about products they sold as well as information about the local area since we were TDY at the time.When she wasn't around the rest of the staff provided the same treatment to us and made us feel as we were permanent party.
