Went there today and at about 1145 was in the deli. It was chaos in there because the number dispenser wasn't out and about seven or eight people in line...some wanting sandwiches and some deli meats. I asked where the dispenser was and no employee responded. A customer told me he was next but I had no idea who was last and employees weren't talking. I walked over to the returns window and spoke to someone about it. She suggested I ask for deli manager and speak to him/her. I walked back to deli and an employee was setting out the number dispenser and another employee came out to wait on customers. The deli is the most frustrating section because of the amount of time you have to wait. Please don't make it worse than it already is. Could not find the maraschino cherries. I looked in the "canned" fruit section, the ice cream sundae section, and even the liquor mixer section. Asked same woman in returns section if she knew. She brought them to me while I was checking out. I asked her where they were and she said she didn't know because someone else got them for her. My cashier said they are at the very top shelf above the cooking aisle. Strange place...
Read more8/18/2025 My First time at the Fort Huachuca Army Commissary, I have to say I was very impressed, I have OCD about poorly stocked stores and empty selves and not front facing products. This has to be one of the cleanest and well stocked stores I have ever see in my 66 years of life, all the products where moved up to the front of shelves, all labels facing the customers, no and I mean NO half empty boxes on shelves, the fruit and vegies where AMAZING, the whole commissary was bright and clean, and smelled amazing, the Meat and Bakery sections was like stores use to be back when people took pride in their jobs. This Base commissary/store is soo impressive I would venture to say I think all the other store in Sierra Vista should take notes, and copy them. The employees where so friendly and and happy to see you. It almost made me cry, Sorry but old Air Force Buck Sargent Explosives Expert here with an eye for details and a Texaco corporate efficiency agent, So I know what I am talking about. I have to say, Nice Job to who ever is in charge of the Commissary. Just makes my heart proud, to see this type...
Read moreSteak & Water... first; I'll NEVER purchase another Steak at this Commissary again! Paid over $18 for a Porterhouse steak, and treated myself to "Steak and Eggs" for brunch (I'm at the point where I eat one big meal a day). Not sure where the beef comes from, but they may want to find a different distributor!! This was the toughest steak I can remember eating. An $18 steak and egg Brunch should have been a special meal.. oh it was special alright. I couldn't feel my jaw by the time I ate my way through one-half of it. And what is up with the Water - H20 inventory. This is Desert Country! Hydration is critical. The shelves were you stock the water are almost empty more often than not !! Oh... there ton's of distilled water... but who drinks Distilled Water ?? The best choice are the 1g bottles of Spring Water.. which you rarely have on the shelves. So, I had to buy several of the 1g bottles of Ph water at $2.38 per gallon !!!! Come on People.. you...
