The reception staff was friendly and professional. The hygienist was good and friendly. I’m always uncomfortable with the X-rays that requires the mouth piece being inserted, there is always an awkward piece hitting the bottom of my mouth where nerve endings are sensitive. It seemed the hygienist was not very familiar with the pieces, the tools and was trying to figure it out as she went along. It would have been nice to have been given some instructions on what to do with my tongue since the mouth piece was so large. After trying to make the large mouth piece fit, she said, “I’m going to try the kid size for you.” I didn’t need to know it was a “kid size”, I may have been in my feelings but it felt like she was blaming me for the inappropriate fit of her tools. Once she started cleaning my teeth, she was friendly and talkative. After the cleaning she needed to get a panoramic 3D picture of my teeth. I thought it was odd that she did this in the middle of my cleaning. After taking the 3D picture which required a tool going into my mouth, scraping against my gums and teeth, along with her fingers and gauzes. She started to polish my teeth, she stopped after polishing the top right side to show me the 3D images and to discuss what we were looking at. Then she resumed polishing my teeth on the opposite bottom side. As she was beginning to floss my teeth I had to remind her that she had not finished polishing the top. I still don’t think she polished my front two teeth. She told me she couldn’t reach behind my wisdom tooth, so it didn’t get cleaned. She seemed uncomfortable and didn’t know how to position herself in order to reach in the back of my mouth…a couple of times the tools were up against my cheeks in a painful way. After all the X-rays…in excess of 10 with the mouth guard, a stand up panoramic, an in mouth camera and a third, another panoramic tool. I was done! I explained I had a meeting I had less than 15 minutes to get to. The hygienist apologized for this first time visit taking so long, they usually do, but she also reminded me that I was 10 minutes late for the appointment. I accept my responsibility for that. I would like to recommend more professional development training as well as practical training for the well...

If I could give zero stars I would. This is the worst experience with a dentist I ever had. I recently moved from out of state and the first dentist I went to ended up being out of network, so I had to transfer mid-treatment to Harrison. I was upfront with this every time I spoke to them.

I had to wait a month to get in and when I showed up, my appointment had been cancelled because I had not replied to their text to confirm. I didn't get a text because I was a new patient so hadn't done the paperwork saying they could text. No call either.

Rescheduled. Next appt, I had to keep explaining what I was there for and finally we got on the same page on how to proceed and they asked me to come the next day so they could look at the teeth needing crowns and possibly take xrays. Not sure why we couldn't have just done it then, but came in the next day and they started to set up for cleaning teeth. I was like, what?? I did let them do xrays since they said insurance would cover them although they had the xrays from my old dentist from two months ago. BTW, they threatened to cancel on me again if I didn't have the xrays emailed by the appointment.They then said they wouldn't proceed with replacing the crowns from my old bridge until i had a full cleaning. What??? Got up and walked out.

Relooked at my treatment plan and they had only done one crown when I'll need two since my old bridge crowned two teeth. Ridiculous.

Waste of time waiting for an appointment, rude treatment, confusion, disorganization, changing stories and plans, and repeating myself multiple times each conversation. It will be well worth the additional $4000 to have my old, now out of network dentist do the work....

I went to Harrison Bridge Dental in Simpsonville to see about getting Invisalign. I have an edge to edge bite and was told by Dr. Javon Brown that I would be a perfect candidate for Invisalign treatment and promised that my bite would be fixed. I received the trays and followed all the instructions and at the end of the treatment, it did absolutely nothing. Interesting because in all the checks that I had in between treatments, Dr. Brown said that everything looked great. Little did I know that she had absolutely no idea what she was talking about. My edge to edge bite hasn’t changed one bit. I was then told I need to have another treatment plan and I told them I would only do it if they could explain how this new one would fix my problem since clearly the last one didn’t. Well, they never could explain it. They just asked me to give them a chance to fix it. Also what is interesting that a nurse working there that she has been having the same problems for two years with her trays. Now I am seeking to get a refund. I have sent them emails and guess what? No response. They took my money and lied to me...actually they tricked me into getting this treatment done. How can a simple dentist tell that I would be a perfect candidate when they clearly don’t know how Invisalign even works and its limitations? Because they just want your money and nothing else. If I don’t get a refund, chances are this will be taken to court. So stay away from this place at all cost. Full of incompetent people who claim to be professionals. Even the woman in charge of the financial portion is a snake, so watch out because once you sign up, even though there’s no contract, it will be hell to...
