Sat in the line at the drive thru for 20 mins kept saying "hello" thinking that bc of the sign that said they were short staffed I would give them the benefit of doubt, but we look a little further and there was nobody in front of us. As we approach the window we notice the staff was cleaning up, nobody had on a head set, we had to beep the horn for some acknowledgment. Finally someone came to the window we asked were they closed the young lady exclaimed "in a little bit" it was 1115pm they didn't close until midnight that night bc it was a Friday. We proceeded to order, the cashier was writing down our order on the back of receipt paper. We only got some fries, cheddar peppers, and a milkshake. It took them another 20 mins just to prepare it. Finally the manager (I assume bc she was the only one wearing a different color than the rest of employess) came and told us to have a good day. We waited over almost an hour total at the drive thru for no reason. I feel like there intentionally didn't want to take orders bc they didn't want to, and they knew people would get out of line (so many cars left upset) Sonic of Simpsonville lost alot of money amd business that night due to lack of service... I enjoy the food but it's not worth the unprofessionalism and laziness. Do better or shut down!!!! Signed a very upset and disappointed...
Read moreOrdered online through the app. Pulled into a bay and waited. After about 10 minutes, the bay screen said someone was coming out with my order. Well, they never came out. I waited another 5 minutes and pressed the call button. The person on the intercom said they were only online taking drive-thru orders. I asked if they were just going to let us sit out there without saying anything even though we had an order in the app. The person couldn't give a response. So, I went through the drive-thru. Once I got to the window, I told them we had a mobile order and then they told us that their machine to make Blasts was broken. I asked if they could do anything for us and they said no, I'll just have to request a refund through the app.
I have had a lot of bad customer service experiences, but this was near the top. I assume this location is probably owned by the same franchisee as the other locations in the area that have all now closed. There is a reason the Sonic's in the Greenville area can't stay open and it starts at the top. Read moreI just want to say we had the crappiest service tonight. First we go around 945 bc we hadn't ate dinner. We ordered about 25.00 worth of food. We get home and of course it's not right and food was nasty looking. The fries were doughy and cold. So I go back and the so called gm came out and said I'll replace order. So we get home again and nope burgers were cold and also missing tater tots. I called up there he gets attitude w me saying I didn't tell him so he only replaced what I said but I never told him anything. So he gets attitude w me and starts to hang up so I so I said flat out I'm coming back up there and get my fing money back. So we go up there for the third time. He came to door and said since u dont know how to speak to me I'm asking u to leave wouldn't give me my money back after I took stuff back. So he calls cops the make us leave and basically sonic stole our money . If it had of been right to begin w I wouldn't of had to go back. I called corporate and I waiting to see what they are gonna do. So if u go there check food before u leave....
