Sad fall of Firehouse. Subway surprisingly has more meat and the bun has dropped by have the volume. The service in the Simpsonville SC location is terrible. It’s just all around terrible at this point. I’m not going back. Large Italian had a total of 2 slices of each meat on it, I counted, one on each half. No baskets for dine in probably due to how lazy the employees are. Everyone in the restaurant had to eat from the cardboard cartons. No lids for large drinks. I hope they like the look of bankruptcy cause that’s where this place is headed.

Very discussed with this location and the management. I called to talk to a manager to tell them I had a STRIP OF EYE LASHES in my sandwich. She just wanted to remake my food. I said no. She said she would put a gift card for our sandwiches at the front desk and kinda joked about checking the workers for missing eyelashes. Thrn said likely it came from the employees the night before. She told me her boss would call me the next day about it as I wanted to tslk yo her about it. Well 2 days has gone by and I haven't heard a word.

Haven't been here in awhile, kids asked to go. Walked in no towels in bathroom. Had to hunt for clean table, just a mess (3 other customers were eating). 4 employees inside 1 out back smoking. Order food and chili tasted burnt, steak and cheese sandwich was good. Kids enjoyed sandwiches. No crackers for chili. Chip rack was in sad shape. On the plus side employees were very polite.

UPDATE: We gave this establishment a 2nd chance when my son wanted to go here for his birthday. We were greeted by an employee (older lady) who told us their AC was out. The temperature in the storefront was fine with us and my husband said that we were alright and thanked her for the heads up. She immediately rolled her eyes at us and walked back behind the counter. About 80% of the tables were dirty, and there was a group of staff all socializing behind the counter. We stood in line, gave our orders and found a table we could all fit at (after cleaning it while the employees watched us). When my children went to pick out their chips, we realized there was a box of chips on a table next to the rack of chips (which only had a few selections). We tried to give this staff the benefit of the doubt since it appeared the AC being out affected them more than the customers and that they probably had a tough day. When our orders arrived, they were all missing a pickle. My husband mentioned this to the lady who delivered the meal (the same one who greeted us), and she said, I know - they are in the back. My husband asked if there was a chance we could get them since they are supposed to come with our order. She again rolled her eyes and walked away without an answer. Again, there were about 6 staff standing behind the counter socializing. No one was cleaning the tables, no one was restocking the chips, the soda area was a mess, and we never received our pickles. While we were sitting at the table I filled out the review form from the receipt, expressing our extreme displeasure with this visit. The next week I received an email from the owner of the establishment who apologized for our experience and said he would send us something to help make it right. I explained to the owner that we spent over $50 in his storefront, and that we would greatly appreciate him making this right. The following week I received a coupon in the mail for 1 medium sub with the purchase of a drink. I emailed the owner again and informed him that we would not be going back to his establishment. That sending us a coupon where we were forced to again give him any of our funds when our orders were incomplete and his staff were incompetent on our last visit would not satisfy our complaints. Its been about a month since I sent that email and I haven't gotten any reply. Historically we enjoyed dining at Firehouse Subs, but this location, their staff, their owner, all take for granted the good reputation this restaurant has. I wouldn't waste my time or my money dining there.

ORIGINAL POST: We have gone to this location 3x in the past couple of months and each time the customer service comes across as condescending and seems bothered to be asked for or about anything. Not planning on...

I had the most awful experience at this Firehouse today. Usually when I go everything is calm pleasant and the workers are nice but I came today at 2:00 p.m. eastern time and it was terrible. I tried to get the $16 deal which included two medium subs two chips and two drinks and it said do it in the app or online I tried to add it online and it kept giving me error messages I don't know if it was because too many orders were being put in or something but I went into the restaurant to see if they would honor the deal because of the error messages and I had some coupons of my own with me. I asked the first guy could he honor it because I couldn't get it to go through online or on the app he wanted me to log into the app and show him that it's saying an error message and so I tried to log into the app but my phone was taking a really long time it's my fault I need to get rid of this phone it's been with me a while now and I've dropped it plenty of times but he was acting rude and then another young lady came up and she was like no, we can't honor that because it says online or on the app and I told her well online and on the app is giving me error messages and then I said okay can you just use my coupons one of my coupons said free combo and it ( it had chips and a drink in parentheses . I've had a bunch of firehouse coupons before because I go to Firehouse quite frequently I usually go to the one on woodruff road though and when it says free chips and drink it doesn't say free combo the coupon says free chips and drink with the purchase of a sub she told me that the free combo meant the chips and a drink the free combo didn't include the sub so I had another coupon and she stacked that coupon and it ended up basically being the same as the $16 but there was a lot of people behind me and I literally had to be embarrassed in front of all those people just because they didn't want to honor a $16 deal online and they were rude and then to make matters worse when I finally paid for everything and got in the car and my mom and my sister tasted their subs they said they were disgusting and I don't know if they were going too fast or what the situation was but the subs were gross and it was just an overall really bad experience right before Easter. It truly...

I really hate to leave a negative review, but my experience with this location (which I used to visit once a week) has really gone downhill and I don't know if I will return. The last 3 times I've visited, something has been wrong with my order. This time, I mistakenly got home before I checked, only to find out they had made completely the wrong sandwich (me asking for a "New York Steamer" apparently sounded like "pastrami fully involved"). I could not check whether this was an issue with the cashier or the sandwich maker, as I was not even offered a receipt.

While it was a Friday night at dinner time, there were no less than SEVEN high school age kids behind the counter, with no adult management in sight. While service and sandwich making were fairly fast (again, wrong sandwich), gossip about classmates and multiple expletives were what I had to listen to while I waited. Even if it were busy (which it wasn't, even at dinner time, which may be indicative), having 7 people on shift at a time, especially just to "hang out", seems a bit excessive.

Again, I've always loved the food, and I apologize if this review came off rough; But if I can't even get the food I order, what is the point of dealing with the...
