This hotel is phenomenal!!! My family travels a lot, and we use Holiday Inn about 95% of the time. Out of the Holiday Inn of the US, this is the best.
That is not a joke.
Staff: They greet you every time with a smile walking in and out of the hotel, even making conversation. They remember why you are even in town, so you can talk about it as well. This is everyone. Whether they are at the desk or in the hallwall. It is consent. Everyone is friendly.
Rooms: They are clean and comfortable. Nothing is worse than going into a room than seeing mold in the shower, brown on walls, bugs, holes, old shower curtains, barely shampoo and conditioner, etc. That is what you get here. Your rooms are spotless. No mild, sliding glass door, no holes or bugs, everything was full, and ac and heater ( you didn't have to manual go to the wall unit and change the settings). The beds were comfortable as towels didn't feel rough. I can't tell you how many hotels from Holiday Inn and non Holiday Inns had these problems. I don't care about ac, but mold, bugs, and holes in the rooms....
Food: Hot breakfast and it a full breakfast. Not every hotel serves this, and some actual charges for breakfast. Their breakfast is good and free, included with your stay, which I hope they continue to do.
This is just the 3 I decided to talk about. I didn't even mention how clean it was down in the lobby area or what they offer.
I recommended this place several times while we were down to other people because other people stayed at another hotel and didn't like it.
I believe you should stay here even if you are visiting Greenville.

Read moreI stayed at this location for 6 weeks before Christmas and 10 weeks at the beginning of the year. The desk staff was friendly, efficient and professional, at least the ones I dealt with on afternoon and night shifts due to my work hours. The AGM at that time was excellent and showed great respect for both the guests and the staff personally insuring that all issues were addressed and even making late night runs for supplies if it was found that the kitchen would be short of anything for the morning breakfast service. The hotel is relatively new and so there are some issues to be corrected as with all new buildings, but this work was managed with discretion and as far as I could tell or heard from other guests with minimal or no disruption to guests.
It is after all a Holiday Inn Express and provides all of the comforts associated with that brand, but the availability of a wide variety of local restaurants makes up for not having an in house restaurant or bar as would be found in other types of hotels.
All in all a very comfortable and quiet hotel. and I have booked to stay an additional 8 weeks as long as the experience continues to be the same.
My only issue was that during my stay my corporate rate changed twice with no notification and I was not made aware of this until I checked out and was presented with the detailed bill. On the other hand, I was asked to put a card on file upon arriving even though the room was already paid for in advanced. After checking out a few days later I received a charge for over $100. When I called, I spoke with an associate who informed me that it was simply an authorization charge that would disappear after a few days. After a week or so the charge posted to my account, I called back and informed an associate who transferred me to APRIL the general managers voicemail. I left a voicemail and did not hear back for a week so I called again and spoke with APRIL who informed me she would look into and get back to me. After another few days of no follow up I called again and left another friendly voicemail that still did not receive a follow up. So I called and left a final voicemail informing APRIL that because of the lack of response and due diligence on the matter I would be filing a dispute with my bank as a heads up to her.... STILL no response and I am currently two months later still working through the dispute claim. Extremely frustrating and disappointing considering we had a great stay and was not intending by any means to be difficult.
