ALDI — Local services in Smithfield Township

Did a grocery pick up at Aldi's for the first time 2 days ago. The prices were lower than Walmart, the quality of the groceries I purchased were outstanding. However my groceries were not well packed. For example eggs on the bottom, milk and yogurt thrown on top of them. Chemicals in with my food. I am also worried that I do not see enough people shopping in our Huntington store. And I do feel bad for the people who work there they do not have enough help. I don't think I'll do grocery pick-up again. It was a $1.99, plus 12 cents for each bag. I am also not fond of self-checkout. Come on everybody let's raise up our Aldi's! I love Aldi and have shopped Aldi's in various cities for many years. I was disappointed, however, at the lack of customers on my last trip to Huntingdon store. So few customers makes me worry that the store will not survive. My unofficial survey of friends tells me that the self-check out is one reason people are avoiding the store.
